That was my cat this morning at 06:00 meowing at the door let me in two minutes later let me out, then let me in then a moment later let me out.
Human: Hey, there you are. Wanna come out?
Cat: Fuck off!
Human: Alright, alright, sorry.

Have a question for more experienced cat owners. I have a top loading litter box. Sometimes my cat will poop on the lid instead of going inside to do his business. It's not dirty. He's not old. He's not sick. It seems to be random because he never does it twice in a row. Had a neighbor cat over yesterday, so maybe my cat was marking his territory, but that doesn't explain other times it happens. Any ideas?
