    TOS-pyjamas, 'gold'.

(I have all three colours, and have worn little less than one of those for the last year or so)

No mask. Don't worry, I'm at home. I follow the state laws (but being vaccinated, have no need or inclination to exceed them).

But I see small kids these days who are wearing masks, and I wonder what it's going to be like for them when the mandate is lifted. Suddenly, they'll be seeing other people's faces in public for the first time. Suddenly, these kinders and first graders will know what their teachers look like... mind blowing, right?

The lightest clothes I own. A shirt that feels like paper, and my short shorts. It is 112 outside and we have no AC. A record for our area!

What I'm wearing means I'd have to put on a shirt and pants, or at least my housecoat if it were necessary to answer the door. It's 40C here, the heat dome has been here for several days and won't be gone until next week.

I have no AC or a fan, but I did order one. The fan is coming Thursday. I've been worrying that my cat isn't drinking enough water (she turned 14 the other day, which puts her in the elderly category).

One side effect of this is that the window screen has holes, the bugs love to come in at night, and I usually kill up to a dozen each night. Thankfully none have been mosquitoes. Yet.

We hit 106. Our summer norm is mid 70's, and a lot of our homes don't have AC.

It's cooler today, but I'm still lounging around in shorts and a muscle shirt. Not that my biceps are that impressive.

We have a 13 year old cat and I worry about her as well. We put ice cubes in her water dish, she is drinking a lot. But she just lays around so hot. I have been rubbing her down with cool hand towels that I soak in water, just wet, and she does not seem to mind much, which tells me how hot she is. And rubbing a cat down with ice cubes or a wet towel is a way to get them to lick themselves and take in a bit of water. Also we have a small fan that we have near her bed. I have taken out the super warm bed and given her light blanket and or a towel to lay on. She really likes the fan. She is not eating much though. I hope some of this helps you. We will be having hot days for a while though back down in the high 80's soon. Our area just can't deal with over 100 and this is very rare a record. So most of us have fans but not Ac, it is not needed. My husband and I are getting by with frozen hand towels, lots of ice water and salads to eat. I don't eat much but drink a lot and have gatorade do drink. We have ceiling fans and small fans and one big fan. Also a very small AC that we have for travel set up in our room. It does help, but we don't keep it on. My husband because of covid is still working at home and he is now working outside with his computers under our trees to try and not be so hot. But it is HOT!!

Thank you, I'll try some of these. She's been laying on the floor here most of the day. I have a bowl of water for her, but she seems to prefer if I hold it up to her mouth. I just had to carry her into the kitchen to feed her as she didn't seem to care when I said I'd feed her. She did eat, though.

The weather forecast says possible thunderstorms on Friday. I don't care, as long as we get rain.
