Maybe they incur the wrath of the Great Filter.
It's weird being the same age as old people.
What's weird is to be counted among old people when you really don't feel like it. I mean I am just as young as I ever was... Have been for four or five decades...
I have the opposite effect, being told I'm a lot younger then my actual age and it is even more annoying.
There are still elite athletes older than me. I take comfort in that.

For a while, I used to live in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, so I've long known that Kitchener used to be called Berlin, prior to changing their name during World War I.
However, thanks to Wikipedia's featured article for today, I just learned that they managed to dodge a bullet 104 years in advance, because one of the other name choices on the ballot was "Corona"!
I wonder, if they had gone that way back then, would they be looking at another name change referendum now? 
(And seriously, "Adanac"? "Hey, I know, why don't we just spell 'Canada' backwards?", and somehow that made it onto the ballot! Although to be fair, the palindromic branding that could have come out of that could have been cool. )

)Most people who say my name for the first time mispronounce it and if I don't correct them, they'll keep doing it forever. In fact, there is a short period of time during which I have to correct them or they'll keep mispronouncing it even after they've been given the correct pronunciation.
