Great. It's a shame they killed off everyone. But they were replaced with Tom, Chakotay and the EMH. At least they should have kept Stadi!

Aaaaaaah, the sickly Borg-green, followed by... Chak-red!!! (well, maybe it's more like vermilion).
Colours are amazing things - in fact, whenever I start a new wallpaper, it is almost always the colour scheme that either springs to mind or that I think about. My choice is widely influenced by the colours from the episode in question, though. A good combination of colours can almost completely define the atmosphere of the picture - everything else is secondary to that.

Btw, I am still looking for a good book (and yes, let me emphasize the word BOOK - not a website, not an application, etc. but something I can curl up with) that would give me information about the colours. You know ... what each colour means, what sorts of things you can associate with them, how they affect each other and what combinations are most effective when choosing colours. And several other aspects of colours, detailed by the author in a not too scientific way. If anyone has any idea, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Your wallpaper is the thing I like best about this episode
Thanks. It is probably not the most memorable episode but since I am also a kind of DS9 fan, it is unforgettable because of Nog playing the little Kazon guy. But the episode has its merits in my eyes, for example that dialogue between Janeway and Neelix in Janeway's ready room. I enjoy that very much every time I watch the ep.

I agree and concur... colour is very important psychologically, aesthetically, and just for preference. I am big on colour in much of my artwork as well.

Maybe Color and Meaning: Art, Science, and Symbolism by John Gage?

Nog was the only reason I ever watched this one; you’re right. I haven’t watched it in many years but I’ll have to give it another try

I like this very much.
Thanks. Considering the fact that it is basically a brown wallpaper, I am surprised I actually like it myself.
Thank you for fulfilling my wish :)
Don't mention it. There's more on the way. The next one will also have Troi in it - I am always very happy to work on pictures that have her in them.
Actually this episode was very enjoyable to work with. Finally an ep which was not shot in the dark so there were lots of good screenshots for all the major characters including the holo-lizard.
