Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

No problem. I think with Instagram stories are live for I think 24 hours then they drop into your archive. If you are the one posting them you can repost them but I've never looked or bothered to try. Don't use it that much

On my mind: We're all just minor blips in time, and the cause of some guy swearing he saw something but it was probably nothing.

We're a cosmic joke when you think about it. Self obsessed walking primates that think they are smart

Everybody thinks they are smart. People tend to think that things beyond their understanding do not really exist and that things below their understanding are stupid which makes them the universal standart for smart.

That's neat when you put it like that. I mean considering the age of the universe who is to say there's beings a hell of a lot smarter then hoomens :)

For instance our fascination with making AI. Rather then benefit all of mankind it's mostly for profit or social control.

That's the thing with capitalism. In order to be on top, you have to be greedy. If you are on top and therefore greedy you get to decide for everybody else. The result is inevitable.

The other thing with capitalism is that if it's well regulated, it doesn't allow greed to run amok, it recruits greed and manipulates it to act in the public best interest. It incentivizes greedy people to do what's best for people by making it the most profitable option.

A realistic utopia isn't a world where nobody is greedy. It's a world where a greedy person and an altruistic person would behave exactly the same.

Well, good luck with that.

Sure it's just a prank gift box, but I'm certain someone will have the brilliant idea to patent and produce the "Birthie Stick" as an actual product. And I'm sure some folks will actually buy it.

I an almost guarantee that someone would even use that product if it was real, this generation loves exhibitionism.

It would be really sad, if out of the entire universe, we are the smartest beings. There might be a lot of smart individual people, but as a collective, humans are really fucking dumb.
