And obviously that became a part of Star Wars world building. Basically a quantum entangling event but between two people. I see the physics of it. But watching it and going "what the :censored:?" is an entirely different matter. There's potential logic to it. I don't like it.

    Ah, being human.

Oh, so how would you visualise a reality that transcends time and space? Abstract lines and points of light in a black void seems about as minimalist as one can get without straying into allegory.
Also; did you not see the Mortis episodes? Nothing in the world between worlds was as wildly off the map and open to interpretation as THAT storyline. Also, small detail, easily missed but Ezra already visited that place *twice* before in the Lothal temple, and it came into play again in the finale. I'm afraid any claims of incoherence just ring of inattentiveness.
    You'll live.

Isn’t he supposed to be dead? They must be retconning Boba killing him later on.

Well that was a shock. I mean I knew it was an outside possibility that we'd see Todo again, but that entrance still took me off guard...oh yeah and the blue guy was there too I suppose.

Loved the little Republic Commando references they keep slipping in with the sound effects and the HUD (and by "they" I suppose I actually mean "David Collins".)
    Well that and money.
His death was only implied. He could have survived...and technically it's not really a retcon if the source is a fragment of an incomplete episode that was never officially released. They're not beholden to storyreels, nor should they be.

We also saw the HUD in Gregor’s helmet in clone wars.

not to mention the Kaminoians are clearly hiding something from the Empire, meaning they may have been up to something Dooku never knew about...

My reactions are my reactions. No doubt it will be better on rewatch. I don't have an issue with the metaphysical; it was the presentation, and how it occured in the episode and the temporal nature which I generally despite temporal anomalies, space magic or no. And, no, I don't like the Mortis arc. I avoided Clone Wars for some time afterwards, and that episode was part of the reason why.

Yes, I'll live. But thank you for the reassurance.

Cad Bane must like Todo a lot to put up with him, repair him, rebuild him after using him as a bomb.

It's a bit difficult to get a grasp of the Empire's priorities. One would think the galaxy would be full of micro-rebellions at the conclusion of the war, and even if only two or three of them had Saw-style staying power, the troops would still have their hands full with squashing the rest. Yet now Crosshair gets three shuttlefuls of men and women to deal with these clowns who are doing nothing particularly contrary to the aims and goals of the Empire as far as anybody knows.

We aren't dealing with Admiral Shrewd here, though: the level of interest the Kaminoans show towards the fugitives is quite stunning, but we see little reaction and little indication that a reaction would follow once the doors close.

Information certainly travels. I don't wonder a bit that Bane overheard something here. I just wonder why Fennec didn't appear, regardless of whether the Kaminoans were vectoring these hunters in or not. Since when has botching the job meant termination of employment in SW? About as often as termination of employment has resulted in the abandoning of the pursuit...

From one toothpick chewing bastard to another! Even though I should've seen his appearance coming considering Fennec Shand, I was still pleasantly surprised to see Cad Bane pop up! It's always fun to watch our heroes (whoever they might be) tussle with Cad's curmudgeonliness and I look forward to the chase after him.

But even better: The long-awaited return of Todo 360!

I don't care about the small universe trope. It's great to see these characters again.

Yes! Cad Bane! That was brilliant.

I didn't expect to see him return since I thought it was canon that young Boba had killed him in a shoot out. Guess not. There's lots of potential going forward here with this character.

I hope they find a way to repurpose that duel between Cad and Boba for The Bad Batch.

Also, I realized earlier that the discarded Kashyyyk arc from Clone Wars was supposed to be a Bad Batch arc. I'd love for them to find a way to tell that story eventually too.

By the way, did anyone notice the special storm troopers had flame throwers from their arm just like Boba Fett?

It sounded like she was still on the case, but regardless of her past failure they likely brought in Cad Bane because she wouldn't be able to get there in time.

If Fennec shoots Bane for trying to take her bounty it just might be worth it to bring back Bane...maybe.

As it stands, the plot thickens.

I got to be honest, I had actually forgotten all about Cad Bane, so when he showed up, my reaction was "oh, hey, it's...that guy."

Cad Bane and Todo 360 showing up was a huge surprise, and since I'm big fan of both characters, that made me very happy.
Loved the stand off between Bane and Hunter, that was my favorite scene in series so far.
I have to admit, I thought for just a second that they might have actually killed Hunter when Bane shot him.

Fantastic episode. The animation was top notch! Great to see places like the ion engine and the artillery deck. Great shootout at the end. Probably my favorite episode of the season.

Looks like we may be done with single-episode stories for now.
