They referred to their contact with male pronounts. I don't think it's Ahsoka. I think it's Bail.that their contact would be Fulcrum/Ahsoka.

I think I have come to take the canonical supplemental material, such as novels and comics, as historical accounts of events rather than the actual events, which we see on screen. That way you can write off the inconsistencies concerning Cobb Vanth, Caleb Dume and others as being simply details that the chronicler missed or got wrong. It was wonderful to see Trace and Raza again! I figured even before we saw R7 that their contact would be Fulcrum/Ahsoka. Looks like they're setting up the eventual recruitment of the Bad Batch for the Rebellion. The only downside about that is we'll get less (or no more) of Rhea Perlman, who stole every moment she was in at the beginning of the episode.
I finally read Ahsoka last month and really enjoyed it, so I would be disappointed if it becomes even more disconnected with on-screen continuity. But as you said, it's already off track a bit considering the flashback to Mandalore and the events immediately thereafter
Not that it matters that much, but I have two potential solutions: The events of the novel have been retconned to earlier (i.e. Ahsoka goes to Raada much sooner) OR Raza and Trace's contact is actually Rex and that's why Raza figured their contact would be interested in rebellious clones.
However, considering their connection to Ahsoka, I imagine the contact will in fact turn out to be Ahsoka, but for now either solution works.
Bail works as well. I’m going to stick with Maul manipulating themThey referred to their contact with male pronounts. I don't think it's Ahsoka. I think it's Bail.
Ah, fair enough. I missed that bit. Then, yeah, it's probably Bail. They referred to their contact with male pronounts. I don't think it's Ahsoka. I think it's Bail.
Yeah, that's kind of how I've viewed Star Trek novels and Big Finish's Doctor Who audio plays (although the easier explanation for the latter are alternate universes, an idea the audios have played around with). Obviously, at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter, but for my own head canon, I just sort of squint the events into place and not sweat the details.I think I have come to take the canonical supplemental material, such as novels and comics , as historical accounts of events rather than the actual events, which we see on screen. Yeaaaah....granted she's a smaller target but because she's so young and small, she's more vulnerable. I don't expect a Disney show to go that route, but it seems like it'll take Omega getting critically injured for the Bad Batch to realize "Oh, hey, maybe she should have her own armor and helmet."Shouldn't the kid have some armor or at least a helmet?
How? By getting shot? You have to earn the armour and helmet
Picking weeds and killing boars.How?
Ah, the traditional method.Picking weeds and killing boars.
They referred to their contact with male pronounts. I don't think it's Ahsoka. I think it's Bail.
It's the only way to determine whether or not she actually needs it! She'd look a bit silly if she went to the trouble of getting armored up and then never got shot. How? By getting shot?
Not bad.. Though the bow us kinda useless.. Just give her a blaster..
But then you'd have a young girl with a gun.. Not that kosher lately .. Looking forward to next episode.
Hey, give that back, it's my line for the prequels!I think I have come to take the canonical supplemental material, such as novels and comics, as historical accounts of events rather than the actual events, which we see on screen.
Now I hope it is too.I hope the mystery contact is Jar Jar Binks in his 'Bombad Jedi' persona.
Unless they're incorporating material from Legends continuity that his role in the Empire's birth taught him to shut up.But the mystery contact didn't speak.
Jar Jar speaks.
