It’s fictional you don’t need to believe it.Sorry, I don't believe in predestination paradoxes or causality loops. IMO, there is *always* an "original" timeline, before something tampered and set in motion a change that then *became* a loop. We just don't always get to SEE the original timeline. Before First Contact, there was *absolutely* a *different* set of events with Cochrane that had produced everything referenced by TOS. Even the NX being named Enterprise was most likely a change, due to knowledge of the Enterprise E.... the original ship was most likely named something completely different.
We’re not discussing real life here, predestination paradoxes exist in the the fictional world of Star Trek. It doesn’t have to make complete sense, it’s fictional.
And based on in-universe facts (and writers intent), Enterprise and Discovery are in the same timeline as all the other TV series. They’re not in a separate timeline.
if we go by your logic, then Voyager would also have to exist in this alternate first contact timeline, because that show acknowledges the events.
Also, when the ENT-E returned to the future, wouldn’t they end up in that altered timeline?
Nothing in the franchise supports your alternate timeline theory.
