Did you ever hear back from your friend? I saw a couple other horseback riders after my second run in with the lady that keeps yelling at me, but I didn't get a chance to ask them. There's one other woman I've seen, and if I can get close enough, and get up the guts, I might try and ask her.
This is what she told me and I have attached a link. https://www.equisearch.com/articles/horse-vision-and-eyesight Unless trained to hear a bike coming up behind they may get spooked, she tells me. They have peripheral vision at about 350 degrees and their ears can swivel too. So they are very sensitive to it. This doesn't excuse the behavior of the riders, she told me. It has been along time since I have saddled-up, but I have pledged that I will gallop thru the wind and slap reins once more before I hit the Dust.
this art is neat but yeah what is the motivation for the bird --- maybe food? not really a kind of artist-esk like idea going on with the painting madness and such--- that would effect human artists that get too close to the paint fumes ---
No, problem. Safe bicking' my friend. I have been on a 10 speed and drafted in my day. It is almost as much Fun as a full gallop on a horse.
My bike's actually a pedal assist, so with the motor all the way up I can get up to about 20MPH. I haven't ridden horse since I had a handful of lesson when I was very young. But I'm tempted to give a try again some time.
