News Clone Wars spin-off-- The Bad Batch

It would be a tad early yet. The war just ended. Isn't Fallen Order about five years after the end of the Clone Wars?

From what I recall Bracca wasn't exclusively a junk world until after the war; before the war it was mostly for refitting older ships.
Not saying it's not Bracca, just understand that the place changed a lot in those 5 years and that there's going to be no shortage of planets littered with wreckage in the immediate aftermath of a galaxy wide war.

Bad Batch story leaks
It's been confirmed by the Black Series Crosshair figure box that he does stay with the Empire. So the theories as to why he was missing in most of the trailer were true

Or the episodes can be whatever length is needed rather than needing to conform with commercial television.

This is probably obvious for some people (including me), but Bad Batch would have had to have been in development before Clone Wars Season 7 even aired for them to be releasing it now.

There must have been enough positive feedback from the original Bad Batch animatics for them to think this would be viable. Or they just think the concept will do well.

If the writing process for this was the same as Clone Wars/Rebels/Resistance, then Season 1 would have been written at least 2 years ago.

Yeah people though something was going on when they went to the trouble of making a whole bunch Imperial era assets just for the final scene.

I doubt any of those will show up in season 1, the trailers showed them still using clone wars era tech and gear, just painted imperial grey.

I wouldn't be so sure they aren't phased out rather quickly Revenge of The Sith already showed the Clone starting to being phased out for normal humans as starship crews.

I was accidentally spoiled on something from Episode 1, but it's kinda neat and I didn't get all the details

Kanan/Caleb from Rebels shows up in the first episode on the planet Kaller, which is the main planet from the Rebels prequel comic about what happened to Kanan after Order 66

They don't clarify there though if the 70 minute premiere counts as one episode or three. Depending on which it is, that should take us to the end of July or the middle of August.
They seem to be avoiding have to much overlap of the big Star Wars and Marvel shows, and Loki stars June 11th, so this will probably be over not long after that.

And we have a character poster and name for the girl, she's Omega.

Could she be a female Jango clone ? But if she is, then that brings up the question of why she was created.

Big Oof in the first episode

Hunter references something Taun We said earlier in the episode. But uh he wasn’t in that scene, none of the bad batch were. Omega was, but she never told him what Taun We said

Taun We
isn't in the episode at all. What is the reference Hunter made?
