Almost certainly redressed for Voyager along with the rest of the TNG sets, and then likely struck when the studios were cleared for Enterprise.

It still blows my mind that the structural framework of many of the Stage 9 sets, originally built in the summer of '77 for Phase II, lasted until the spring of 2001 when Voyager wrapped and they were totally demolished to make way for Enterprise. Almost 24 years.

The VOY turbo was significantly different. There are photos of the TNG sets being struck after Generations showing the rear bridge turbo half demolished. I agree at least one should have been saved, but they destroyed a lot of stuff they shouldn't have and I've never seen any evidence one of these survived.

This is why I keep floating the idea of using dead malls as sets. You NEVER tear them down. The studio set is only for location shots...but the bridges are Q-zar lazer tag locations, with a server farm and gift shop. The edifice makes money even when empty/between shoots—and the local municipalities keep them up as museums.

    Win-win-win

@SuricataFX was kind enough to generate a cleaner version of the early top-down schematic of the Sovereign for me this morning, so I've updated the below animations with the new graphic. I was previously using a half-assed cleaned up screen grab ;) There are a few places I'll use this in the future as well.

    A side by side comparison:

Many of you have been with me for like, over a decade now? I joined in 2008 so yeah! This is really the only place I post my work on a regular basis, and I count on each and every one of you to give me ALL THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK to keep me going! ;) I kid. I appreciate the constructive criticism as well, and all the indulging in nerding out over our beloved franchise. It was the least I could do to show my appreciation!

Break? What is this break you speak of?

plus, I’ve still got some details left before I can call both the FC and INS versions done. A few more monitor screens to generate, and I’m waiting for a Gracie Blackhawk joystick I ordered for cheap off eBay to arrive so I can use it as reference to model the famous manual steering column flight stick ;-)

Sadly, not yet. I’ve got the red alert indicators rigged to go, but on order for it to be “complete” I’d have to spend a lot of time making proper red alert versions of all the monitor displays. Which is a bigger task than it looks. The plan is to eventually swing back around at a later date to do that. But I dunno. We’ll see.

^That's understandable. And IIRC, it wasn't just the animated displays, but didn't some of the static LCARS switch to a more reddish pallette as well?

In Nemesis, the static displays were switched to red, yes. FC and INS the static displays remained unchanged when red alert was switched on.

I went into this bridge actually telling myself not to worry about the red alert displays for now, because that's what killed my progress with the Enterprise-A bridge. The workload of creating some 30+ displays AND their red alert modes exhausted me, and I just couldn't muster the motivation to finish it at all once I'd reached that point (I suspect I'll revisit the A bridge in the near future now that I know After Effects). So I went into this bridge project wisely putting red alert displays aside as a "stretch goal"...and I have to be honest that I've reached the point where I'm ready to finish these two bridges and move on to other things. I've been on it for two months now!
