That is the name of the trilogy.BTW, is Coda really the name of the trilogy, or is that just some sort of placeholder title until one is determined?

I would assume the interest in DRG3 being involved somehow is mostly do to with the lingering DS9 plot threads - the Dominion refugees, the Endalla falsehood, I think those are big ones - that are still hanging. Voyager had To Lose The Earth as a functional finale, and the last published TNG novel was written knowing Picard was coming down the pike. Even Titan had been sort of soft reset in terms of ongoing arcs as of Riker’s promotion, and the new status quo was still developing, so nothing too big was still in motion there.
But the DS9 story still had a conclusion being built up to, so if this continuity is wrapping up, that is where the most unanswered questions still rest.

And now publicly displayed on Amazon! That is the name of the trilogy.
"Reality under attack"? Are they going to Crises on Infinite Earths this sucker?
So close. It's Coda! From the Simon and Schuster Online Catalog:
Book 1: Moments Asunder
Book 2: The Ashes of Tomorrow
Book 3: Oblivion's Gate
Sounds ominous!
Guessing you missed the book descriptions and Temporal Apocalypse stuff from a few pages ago?"Reality under attack"? Are they going to Crises on Infinite Earths this sucker?
Exclusive excerpt:If this is a the big finale we're all expecting, I really hope the authors can work in appearances from the SCE, New Frontier, and IKS Gorkon characters. It would be kind of hard since the series is set in the 24th century, but would love to see the Vanguard characters too, and while I've never read it, Stargazer fans would probably appearances from those characters too.
Picard watched as reality itself began to crumble. From the bridge of the Enterprise-E, outside the universe, he could see the small flotilla of starships gathered here to save reality: the Titan with Admiral Riker, Voyager with Admiral Janeway, the da Vinci with Captain Gomez, the IKS Gorkon with General Klag, the Prometheus with uh, what's his name. You know, the guy with the personality.
From across time, other starships had gathered, too: the original Excalibur (not the lame one, Picard noted with satisfaction, but the OG Ambassador-class one with Calhoun in command), the Endeavour (on detached duty from Starbase 47), even his own first command, the Stargazer, with another him aboard, and Jack Crusher, and that guy who ate glass. Ha, what larks they had had.
But none of it had been enough. And now reality was dying.
Just as Picard thought he was going to have another embarrassing break down and cry on the bridge (merde, not again, he thought), an alarm blared.
"Oh my God," said Dina Elfiki (she was, as always, looking incredibly attractive). "Another ship is coming through! And they're pushing reality back into position. We're saved! The universe is saved!"
"Who is it?" Picard asked eagerly. "Who is on that ship?"
The radio crackled to life. "IT'S THE USS CHALLENGER, MY DUDES! NICK KELLER IN COMMAND, SHUCORION BY MY SIDE! YES, ZANE BONIFAY DID DIE (THAT WAS A LONG CLIFFHANGER, HUH), AND YES IT'S BEEN TWENTY YEARS, BUT SPACE LIBERTARIANISM WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL OVER YOUR NAMBY PAMBY FEDERATION LIBERALISM! THIS IS OUR MOMENT!"
"It's true," said Elfiki. "The Challenger really did save the universe."
"Well," said Picard after a short silence. "That was unexpected."

If you go back a few pages, you'll see preliminary summaries/back cover copy of the trilogy. It involves the Krenim, and refers to apocalyptic temporal events, so yeah, something along the lines of CoIE is most likely in store. Some form of "timeline reset" is required to line up continuity with Picard.Been kinda out of the loop for the novel-verse for awhile.

They've been heavily involved in several Voyager relaunch books by Kirsten Beyer.Have the Krenim been featured in any novels that I should read in preparation for the Coda trilogy?
Yeah, I'd really like to know if I should read Architects of Infinity and To Lose the Earth before Coda.I know it's a little early, but can anyone "in the know" give a list of the most essential books to read in the run-up to this? Would it be a case of the most recent TNG and DS9 books? I assume everything will be explained as usual but, you know. Hype.
Thanks@Jinn, if you read A Pocket Full of Lies then I imagine that’s the most important Voyager related back story for Coda. Though the relevant storyline does continue in minor but important ways in the AoI/TLtE duology. It also is a relatively successful wrap up to the Voyager series, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the ending is spoiled in Coda.
