I had kind of a funny incident with Gracie earlier this week. I've mentioned in the random thoughts thread that I've been going bike riding, and some of the houses where I ride have horses in the backyards. When I went on a ride the other day, it was fairly windy, and even though I never got closer than about 20 or 30 feet of the horses, I managed to pick up their smell, because when I got home Gracie was absolutely fascinated and she gave me the most thorough inspection I have ever gotten from her. I almost tripped over her a couple time because she just would not stop sniffing every inch of my legs. She's about 60lbs, and comes up to my knees, so she's a big girl to trip over.

I bet she’s jealous you get to go be out in all that nature! You come back smelling soooo interesting!

We actually take on a lot of hikes, so they get out a quite a bit.

Many friends and relations have lost older dogs I mean a lot of people we know. And I am wondering if any of the dogs could have died from COVID? Do any of you anyone who had a dog die from COVID? I don't know how many animals have died. I know they keep track of how many people. But anyone out there keep track of how many animals? I am just wondering because all these dogs were older but most were in good health. One cousin had to let 3 dogs go at once! Another came home and the dog just died. So I am just wondering about that???
