Sometimes recurring characters aren't handled well. I didn't like the return of Stephanie March for instance.
I'm not looking forward to Stabler's return, where we'll spend an hour watching Benson try and decide once again if she wants to kiss him or make love to him or what.
I REALLY hope TPTB don't ship Stabler and Benson. They have great chemistry as cops but would have NONE as lovers. Besides, Stabler's married, and Benson's not a homewrecker.
Yea, and that's why I mostly do not watch the show anymore apart from any episodes that have characters I like in it. So done with St. Olivia.
I'm a bit surprised SVU is still going strong when they axed the mothership after 20. SVU has to cost significantly more just to pay Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T.
Seems like wasted money in the case of Ice-T. This show has become more and more about St. Olivia and he shows up to maybe one or two scenes an episode, but I guess money is no object.
I haven't really watched the show in several years but I did enjoy it, but I was always more a fan of the mothership show. I have tried to watch a few episodes here and there but for me something is missing in the later seasons of the show.
I was really looking forward to Organized Crime, but I may not be able to watch it. (I don't have cable, and it doesn't look like OC will be available on the iTunes Store.)
Any old TV antenna will get you the broadcast networks (and there's no such thing as an HD antenna despite what they try to sell you). And you'll discover there's a crap ton of additional over-the-air stations out there besides NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, CW and PBS, such as Ion, Bounce, Stadium and Heroes & Icons. Or you can stream the next day on NBC.com and endure endless commercials.
Antenna? How quaint. srsly, I did try an antenna once. It didn't work. (and besides, they don't have DVRs for antennas, do they?)
I have a TiVo for my antenna that doesn't require a subscription, but they discontinued it. But yes, there are DVRs for over the air broadcasts.
