That would be best but won't happen. So, Grogu will likely come back.I just loved 'The Mandalorian'.
... but what is it going to be without Grogu?
They probably should just call it a wrap.

With the majority of streaming series averaging 8 - 10 episodes per season - what do you expect.I think that's more about just the number of shows out there now, rather than the shows themselves. These days, as soon as one show is over, everybody just moves on to the next one.
I hear you on that. I'm in the process of getting ready to move to a rural area where the internet is so-so. It's fine for most basic stuff, but it's doubtful that the service will be up for streaming.Personally I hate the fact that everyone is so focused on streaming services these days. It doesn't save money cutting the cord from cable any more because there are a shit-ton of different streaming services with exclusive rights to certain titles you can't find anywhere else. Further, as mentioned previously, even if you do pay for a service, sometimes you are "required" to pay a premium on top of that just to watch certain series or movies. Thirdly, you are at the mercy of the streaming service's playlist. Titles may not always be available and taken down for a period of time that they can no longer be accessed. Literally ALL of these problems are mitigated by owning physical media.
And don't get me STARTED on software rentals from the "cloud" and the new business model where you don't actually own the software you buy and can only get a monthly or annual subscriptions anymore (Adobe, I'm looking at you assholes)!
I know, I know... First World Problems, and all that... [Grumble]
Glad to see that I'm not the only one peeved at everything being moved to online. The Amazon videos and music you buy can be taken down at any time. There's actually a lawsuit over this in California.Yep. I'm still waiting for TRON: Uprising to come out on disc. Before Disney+ started streaming it, the only way to get it was on Amazon Prime Video, which sucked because, like with many "Prime" things, I'm a member but still had to pay extra for certain streaming series. That was one of them.So I can now see it without paying extra for individual episodes, but nothing on physical media.
I'm going to lament the lack of Netflix's Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance on physical media as well.
I don't expect that either of these titles will ever be released, considering their limited runs.
