800 pages each, but they're just "clip shows" where the characters remember things that happened in other, earlier books.

For three books, up to 400 pages each?
I doubt there's enough money in the sales to justify the costs (writing, editing, production) of a 1,000 page Trek novel.
I would be happy with 1200 - 1500 pages across the trilogy, with an added appendix at the end of the third book outlining the timeline of the Lit Verse and other interesting tidbits from the last twenty-odd years of story telling, including maybe an interview with the three writers and how they paved the way for the project in recent years.
I know a group of fans which has had such a timeline published in the past and would love to have the chance again. 
1000 pages for all three seems reasonable. Appendix with both Lit timelines would be really nice to have.

I'm grateful there's a sendoff.
This is immensely sad. TrekLit adapted to ENT, KEL, DSC, Short Treks, it would've survived DSC s3, but PIC comes along and wham! TrekLit is back to square one. It's all over.
*apocalyptic music fades in*
