What Do You Plan to Read in 2021

Since we did our "What Did You Read in 2020", I thought it might also be time to look ahead to next year. So do you have any specific reading plans for 2021?
For the last few years I've been working my way through the Dresden Files and Kate Daniels series, and I'm getting close to caught up on both, so hopefully by the end of next year I'll be done.
I'm also hoping to expand my reading horizons with some non-tie in Sci-Fi, like the Murderbot Diaries, Sprawl, and Wayfarers series, and epic fantasy like The Stormlight Archives, Shades of Magic, and Realm of the Elderlings Saga. I've also started a first read and reread of The Sigma Force series, so I'm continue that too.
On the Star Trek front I got caught up on the TNG books this year, so now I'm moving on to DS9, Voyager, and Rise of the Federation.
I've also got some other tie-ins and movie novelizations for things like the Arrowverse, the Andy Sirkis Planet of the Apes movies, Firefly, Godzilla, DC comics and movies, and Marvel comics and movies.
I've got a some other stuff that'll probably be mixed in there, but that is the stuff I'm pretty confident I'll read.
On the comics front, I'm most going to continue stuff I've been reading, like Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel, Astonishing X-Men, the New 52 and Rebirth Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. I've also got some non-Big Two stuff I've been working on like Lumberjanes, Chew, and Monstress. Like with my novels, there will probably be some other stuff mixed in there too.

At the moment, there's "Watching the Clock" and "The Body Electric, which I haven't finished reading yet". The next two DS9 novels, "Sacraments of Fire" and "Ascendance" - now that I've finished "The Missing" and "To Lose the Earth".

I plan to start right at the beginning of literature by reading the Pyramid Texts and move forward from there.

I've changed my mind. Instead of doing this, I'll make a list of every fictional universe I'm interested in, use a random number generator to select one of them and then read every book that's part of that universe. Larger universes will have a higher chance of being selected than smaller universes because each universe will have a number of entries in the list equivalent to the number of decades that universe has had new stories added to it. For example, the Star Trek universe has had new stories in every decade from the 1960s to the 2020s, so it will have 7 entries in the list. I'm doing all this because I have a wide range of interests, but I have trouble making decisions and sticking with them.

You know, I had just assumed it had been published without looking it up. But it looks like it's going to be published in April.

I plan to read my first Trek novel this month. I'll probably start with "Imzadi" since I have heard such good things and then dive into the others I ordered. ( "Ghost Ship" " A Rock and A Hard Place" and "New Frontier" "Imzadi II" ) There was no strategy there, btw, since it's all new and I figured I just needed to start somewhere. lol I will GLADY take any recommendations. Also, if there is a more appropriate thread for that please let me know, I will post there.

In addition to that my current TBR pile for this year (so far) consists of "Mistborn" by Brandon Sanderson, #2 and #3 of Crown and Key series by Clay and Susan Griffith. "Our Time is Now" Stacey Abrams and maybe some chic lit by Colleen Hoover if I feel like I can handle a good cry. lol
I would like to make a good dent into the rest of my book shelves but it's best to start small before the pile gets so big and I avoid it all together.

I don't know the details since I never read it, but from what I've seen online, Ghost Ship was written before the show aired, so there is some stuff in it that is inconsistent with what ended up onscreen. Just a warning, so you don't confused.
