It's more that he directs them to do it and he does nothing to stop it. If it happened once, that's an accident. When it keeps happening and you refuse to step in, then it becomes increasingly clear that you want it to happen. if someone keeps letting their dog attack you, you don't blame the dog.*

The show is better off because they don't have to dance around her bigotry anymore. Apparently they were going to announce that she was going to be the star of the New Republic show until she went on some Twitter rant right before they announced all the upcoming Disney+ shows.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the 'Ranges of the New Republic' series that was announced.
That's the one. She was going to be the star, but she decided to destroy her career because she couldn't stop herself from posting bigoted shit or just thought she could get away with it because she got away with so much before. Her management company has dropped her too, she might not recover from this.
What have we learned? If you're going to be a bigoted asshole keep it to yourself so you keep your job. It's your own fault if you get fired.

Considering how the show is, they don't even need to go back to her character if they are heading for Mandalore for the Darksaber plot and potentially Thrawn for the overall multi-shows arc. It can be a large galaxy...when it isn't due to hyperdrives.

ETA. Soooo...How about Janina Gavankar as the lead for the 'Rangers' show? I mean her character is an elite commando, has an interesting backstory, works for the New Republic, and unlike someone I shall not bother naming she can actually act. Also reasonably certain she's not a literal nazi sympathiser (when did that become something one had to double check?!)
