Zenkaiser's parents will be played by two Kamen Rider alumni

Kaito’s mom, Goshikida Mitsuko is played by Kai Marie, Kamen Rider OOO’s Shiraishi Chiyoko.

Kaito's dad, Goshikida Isao is played by Kawaoka Daijiro who previously played Alternate Kabuto/Souji in Decade. He also played Nobuharu's late brother-in-law in Kyoryuger.

Does a specific studio other than Hasbro, have control of the Power Rangers franchise? The shows air on Nickelodeon, so would that mean it's Paramount?
I'm just wondering if the shows that got pulled from Netflix might show up on CBS All Access/Paramount+ or one of the other streaming services.

    Nope. According to the RangerWiki:

    https://powerrangers.fandom.com/wiki/Nickelodeon
It may be that Netflix just declined to renew its contract for the other shows. They kept MMPR and the two most recent seasons, which I'd guess are the most popular ones, so maybe those were the only ones they thought were worth keeping.

I loved Agito. I think of it as the point where the Kamen Rider franchise grew up. Kuuga was pretty much in the same vein as the Showa-era Rider shows -- a formulaic story about fighting an intractably evil enemy, with a lead character who doesn't change or grow significantly. There were attempts to play it more as a sophisticated police-procedural drama, but I found those aspects superficial, and attempts to inject interpersonal conflict or ethical debates tended to get shrugged off immediately after they were established. Agito told a much more nuanced, complicated story with an ambiguous villain who thought he was protecting humanity, a world-changing premise (the emergence of a new race of psychically powerful humans) that provoked challenging moral and philosophical debates among the characters, rival factions with conflicting agendas, and lots of rich character interaction and evolution, all of which became the template for future seasons.

Hard to tell from the brief glimpses, but it looks like they're following Beast Morphers's precedent and shooting mostly new ground-level action footage instead of using Sentai stunt footage.

New trailer for Zenkaiger's mini movie(alongside Ryuusoulger and Kiramagers)

    There's a big bad composed of....big bads

That's just insane. The crotch part looks like the Machine King from Zeo/Ohranger but it's impressive how many people were able to pick out all the main villains

    Kiramager episode 41

    "Meow"

Seems like this is the culmination of the Gekiranger references. We get the sports company. A guest appearance from two of the actors and now an episode where the Kiramagers do a cat roll call.

We got enough fart jokes for a lifetime on Power Rangers already. Don't go there sentai

Since we're near the end we're starting to see which villains get a bit of a redemption namely Kurantula

Not sure why the fish were censored. Exposed guts maybe? Was that supposed to be a joke that went over my head?

EDIT: Apparently this qualified as nudity in Japan. That's why it was censored.

    Next episode begins the endgame

    Kamen Rider Saber episode 21

That scene where Touma and Mei interviewed all the people who knew the people who went missing was really touching.

Gotta love Japanese live action shows. When they go all in on a concept they go all in. The Adam West's Batman-style comic book effects were wonderful for X-Swordsman. The Climax Form Kintaros type punch was fun.

Glad Slash is now back on Touma's side after a sword duel with real fire had them confirm their feelings once again. Daishinji can also look at someone now(Ren)

Interestingly we learn that the Megiddo worked with the Sword of Logos

This was hugely fun. The cute girls turned into cute kitties? I'm with Shiguru -- "I'm okay with this." The feline antics were fun, and the cat-styled roll call was amusing.

But the character insight into Kurantula was fascinating. I loved the way it paralleled Kurantula and Jyuuru as kindred creative spirits, and it's an intriguing revelation that Kurantula cares less about conquest than about the joy of creation and just being good at his job. I wonder if we're heading for a face turn for him (a triply appropriate idiom in his case). Then again, sometimes the villains become sympathetic but remain villainous and get killed at the end anyway.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a book-themed season included comic books as a variation -- though it's interesting that it's drawing more on Western comics than manga. Maybe because they wanted the full-color aspect as a contrast with the monochrome Shadow form.

And that's Tassel on the far right, with the green hair and the tree on his shoulder. This was his biggest role yet, interacting directly with Yuuri and having an impact on the story. He's clearly much more integral to all of this than he seemed at first.

We don’t know when this picture is from( probably a month ago at least) but it's a wrap for the last cast of human actors(untill 2022 most likely)

Interesting to note. The cast have cuts applied on their faces so it looks like we'll get a helmet less roll call in the end.

Hard to believe it was five years ago Mio Kudo was on the cast of Ghost getting her farewell bouquet

This Friday will be another Fan First Friday for Hasbro. They'll be revealing more Dino Fury toys. Hopefully we'll get a look at lightning collection figures and a painted version of the champion T-Rex

    Kiramager episode 42

Takamichi- Jyuru. We're in the endgame now.....

That team transformation looked really cool. I wonder if the summer movie that was turned into episodes for Zabyu-n had a team transformation like that.

Just what Japan needs right now. Another outbreak.

Garza stomping on KirameiRed's stomach looked brutal

So last episode Garza speculated Kurantula's change in behavior was due to losing a fifth of himself. Since the emperor lost the Shadom side of his face Garza wormed his way into replacing the destroyed part

Definitely wasn't expecting Emperor Yodon to get taken out so easily.

The climax begins. Off to a good start. I kind of guessed that the boy in the dream would turn out to be Garuza, but I dismissed it because I believed Jyuuru's reminder that Oladdin was the only Crystalian able to imagine new things (which still leaves me wondering who designed their architecture, technology, fashions, etc. if nobody else has any creativity). Now it seems Garuza has that ability too, which leaves me wondering why he hid it. I guess we'll find out.

I also had a feeling that Garuza's merger with Yodom was a ploy to betray him. After all, he's been a traitor from the start.

Not too surprising for the first major villain to dethrone his master and become the ultimate boss at the end. We've seen that happen before, e.g. with Enter in Go-Busters and Horobi in Kamen Rider Zero-One. It makes narrative sense to have the ultimate foe be a character we've been invested in from the beginning, rather than an eminence grise who's rarely been seen.

So they explained the netflix thing. They want people to have easier access to power rangers, and they want to put the seasons on YT.

Whoa! We're getting a Tengu figure!

I think it would be better if he was a "Decade" like Villain where he can summon previous "Final Bosses" as his lackeys.

Looks like Dino Fury might be another season like Beast Morphers where the first episode has little to no Sentai footage. In that case, though, the broad strokes of the premise were much the same, with just the characters being different. Here, it seems to be quite different from Ryusoulger.

Interestingly the Mosasaurus is already represented with the core zords. I don't think we'll have to wait long for the gold ranger to show up.

^Well, they've got the equivalent of Gaisorg showing up right at the start.

It's so very Power Rangers that their clothing and even their equipment are already color-coded to their future Ranger colors. In Sentai, the characters generally don't start color-coding their clothing until they adopt team jackets/uniforms.
