^I didn't just mean Kamen Rider, I meant all the series on Toku World. There were a few that I started and might be interested in seeing more of if they subbed more, like Jiraiya and maybe Kikaider. (I couldn't really get into Space Sheriff Gavan, though. It's incredibly weird and random.)

    Kiramager episode 39

Sniper episodes are pretty common in Sentai series. The most notable was Magiranger's/Mystic Force. That also involved the yellow ranger.

It was pretty easy to figure out that Mabushina's intense shine would be used later in some capacity.

I love how casually Mabushina can just walk into a store and no one bats an eye at an alien crystal princess. It reminds me of Zubaan from Boukenger buying groceries which was a funny sight.

Some good camera work in this episode too. It's a shame that Shadom had to be dealt with so quickly.

Hmm, I hadn't noticed that they were common. This one was well-done, though, very tense and exciting. And Tametomo was very clever in outwitting the sniper.

Well, Kiramager is in the same universe as Gekiranger, and that show had the anthropomorphic-animal mentors casually walking around in public without anyone being bothered or surprised. I guess folks on that Earth are just broad-minded. (Unlike Zyuohger, where the Zyumans had to disguise themselves as humans in public.)

Casting is under way in Zenkaiger for an actress within the age range of 15-22

This is Japan so I doubt they'd give the "6th ranger" role to a girl(merchandise and sales). It will probably be a duo

    Two humans?

Human and Kikainoid? The Kikainoid would probably be the real sixth ranger similar to GoseiKnight.

    Kamen Rider Saber episode 19

I miss Sophia( where is she?) At least Touma brought her absence

She was the voice of reason. Without her the other Sword of Logo's members are acting stupid.

We have two more swords left from the nine we already have (which includes the movie sword)

If they would just talk with each other than they could resolve this misunderstanding.

Official site indicates that by the next episode, Ogami and Daishinji are already wising up. Daishinji knows Touma was telling the truth that a human can be turned into a Megid, and he believes Storious saying that he doesn't know where Sophia is. Ren is different, he is obsessed with Kento and trying to "avenge" him by attacking Touma. It looks like Reika will exploit that and it's already been hinted that he could go over to the villains

It looks like all of the Power Rangers series, except Mighty Morphin' and Super/Ninja Steel are going to be leaving Netflix after Sunday.

Even Beast Morphers? I hope not, since they still haven't released the back half of season 2. My List doesn't show a cutoff date for it, at least not yet.

It's weird, I checked on my computer app, the website, and my Android tablet app, and the only one with the Last Day to Watch on Netlfix warning was the Android app.

    Kiramager episode 40

Very intense episode. Lots of twists on the usual imposter formula, including a fake-out that had nothing to do with the resolution but did keep everyone on their toes.

It's been awhile since they used the Daiya-kun. In the beginning it was used too much. Glad they still remember it.

I spotted the Lupin manga Easter Egg in the episode. Its the 2nd time in Super Sentai that's been used

It's interesting that both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are having similar situations right now where the MOTW are now involving humans and the heroes are finding it difficult to fight

The fade to black as Hattaa was crying was uncharacteristic of Sentai. We don't see many types of scenes shot like that.

So if there was no house then were Jyuryu, Calorie and Hattaa just interacting in an empty lot?

New information about who will be writing the final episodes

Episode 42 will be written by Ayumi Shimo

Episodes 43-45 will be written by Naruhisa Arakawa.

It went to a surprisingly dramatic place with the shut-in aspiring manga artist. Carantula's plot to create a Jamenju from a human's darkness energy by driving them to despair was very much like how the Phantoms created more of their kind in Kamen Rider Wizard, driving "Gates" (potential Mages) to despair to spawn Phantoms within them.

The artist, Hatta Saburo, was named in honor of Hatte Saburo (or Saburo Hatte), the house name used by the producers of Super Sentai. It's not the first time a Naruhisa Arakawa-written series has based a character on Hatte; the parody series Akibaranger featured Hatte "himself" as a character.

The ending was weird. I got the impression that Hatta was supposed to be the manga artist that Muryou said he liked as a kid, and there was some kind of time slip going on, which was why the lot was vacant when Jyuuru returned at the end. But it's hard to see how that fits into the story.

So we're very near the endgame, huh? A few episodes early due to the midseason shutdown.

    Zenkaiger villain information.

There seems to be some intrigue/mystery revolving around Secchan the Zenkaiger's bird mentor and the villains own bird

    Tojitendo side:

    Nakata Jouji as Bokkowausu:
King of the Tojitendo who wants to rule all worlds, and governs with an iron fist(literally)

    Nomura Kenji as Barashitara:
The Tojitendo's field captain, and one who is advancing the current attack. He turns others to scrap with his strength.

    Takeda Masanori as Ijirude:
The Tojitendo's general in charge of technological development. He is in charge of the monsters that act as the vanguard for the Empire's invasion.

    Suzuki Tatsuhisa as Gege:
A bird-type robot that sits enshrined on Bokkowausu's shoulder, and loves affection. Using a silver tongue, he whispers plots into Bokkowausu's ear.

So our villain boss is just a giant arm behind a wall. Sounds like old school sentai

A TON of photos have dropped for "Power Rangers Dino Fury". Key points

    https://powerrangers.hasbro.com/en-us/tv-shows/power-rangers-dino-fury

-Kelson Henderson who played Mick from Ninja Steel is back
    -We get a dinosaur ally
    -Town name is Pine Ridge
-Zayto somehow "dies" while in the age of dinosaurs and is revived
-BuzzBlast is an internet media agency
-Zayto is from a planet named "Rafkon"

VOID KNIGHT Void Knight is an armored alien warlord who crashed on Earth many years ago. He is intent on using the power of the super-charged Sporix for his own personal benefit.

Also there are bios for each of the core rangers

26 photos were uncovered in the photo gallery that's not open yet

I get the feeling they might use the footage of Gaisorg Brown from Ryuusoulger for Mick to become Gaisorg Brown

Interesting. It's no surprise to see Kelson Henderson show up again, but it is a surprise to see him reprising a previous character. Bringing Mick back helps create some inter-series continuity, which seems to be something Hasbro is playing up more. It reminds me of how the Showa-era Kamen Rider series had mentor characters who recurred in consecutive seasons -- Tachibana for the first five shows and Tani for the 1979-81 revival. Or, of course, recurring Power Rangers characters like Buk and Skull.

It's amusing that the upcoming Power Rangers season has an alien Red with four human partners, and the upcoming Super Sentai season has a human Red with four alien robot partners. It's pretty uncommon for the Red Ranger to be the exotic one, though we did previously have an alien Red in Space's Andros, while Mack in Operation Overdrive also turned out to be nonhuman. In Sentai, there have been a few all-alien teams (Goseiger, Gokaiger, Kyuranger), but Banban in Dekaranger is the only case I can think of where Sentai had a non-Terran Red Ranger on a team of Earth humans. Banban's alienness never really came up, though.

In both franchises, when Red is the odd one out, it's more common for him to be the most normal guy in the team, e.g. the only present-day team member in Timeranger/Time Force, the only human member in Zyuohger and Zenkaiger, the only ordinary, non-genius member in Megaranger and Kiramager. And Power Rangers has often gone to the well of having the Red Ranger be an everyman who stumbles into leadership of a team of highly trained experts -- Lost Galaxy, SPD, Beast Morphers (though Zoey and Devon both qualify there).

I'd guess that the new dinosaur ally character will be taking the place of Tyramigo, and that the "T-Rex Champion Zord" will just be a Zord rather than a character.

    Kamen Rider Saber episode 20

I liked the scene where the other members of SOL were beginning to understand Touma until Reika saw this and sowed some seeds of doubt back in

Yuuri's fascination with technology continues to have it's moments like the escalator bit.

I had a feeling Touma and Mei's injuries were played more for laughs than serious this time. They even brought out the cliche crutch.

And Sophia! It's been awhile since we saw her.

I noticed that the end of the episode fight was where Geiz Revive from "Kamen Rider Zi-O" happened. There was an impressive timed explosion with Saber in the middle. They must like to do their timed explosions there

I double checked and Netflix did remove most of the Power Rangers series, Mighty Morphin', Ninja Steel, and Beast Morphers are the only ones left.

I found this one a little unfocused -- or maybe overly cluttered, like many of this show's episodes. The first big fight scene was a mess, with four people all fighting each other at the same time, for nebulous reasons in Desast's case.

Still, it had its moments. Scenes where a Rider's friends do the henshin for them when they're out of it are fun (the first one I remember was in OOO), though it was unclear just why Yuuri was spacing out like that (was he just worn out from the escalator? Can a sword in the illusory form of a human get tired?). And Touma's speech at the end about how his own pain motivates him to fight out of empathy for others' pain was a nice moment.

Yeah, I recognized it. The escalator location is a familiar one too. IIRC, Bioman used it as the ramp into their spaceship, and I've seen it one or two other shows too.
