The theme of this contest is portrayals of the Devil -- a.k.a. Satan, Lucifer, Mephistopheles, Beelzebub, the Prince of Darkness -- in movies and television. An entry can be dramatic, comedic or musical, as long as it's a portrayal by an actor and not an animated cartoon, comic book or graphic novel. You many enter as many times as you wish.

Standard avatar rules apply -- maximum dimensions 200 by 200 pixels, maximum file size 1 MB.

Technically, John Candy isn't playing the Devil; it's Steve Martin imagining him as the Devil. But it's such a funny image that . . . oh, what the hell, I'll allow it.

Is a human actor in a comedic sketch okay? If so ...

He's playing the role of the Devil, so it's kosher.
