I was most surprised... it's such a sad running gag by now that he (almost) never wins television awards. I for SURE thought Pedro Pascal would take this one home for The Mandalorian. I sat there like Surprised Pikachu. I'm really so happy for him. Regardless of whether the series hits someone's fannish nerve or not, Sir Patrick always works incredibly hard and deserves ALL the awards and recognition. I mean the leading role in a series at now 80 years old? That is an AWESOME accomplishment.

I'm totally not biased, no.

I'm very hopeful that the production delays have meant the writers have been spending a lot more time polishing the scripts for Season 2. Not that I think Season 1 had a bad foundation, but the way they put the individual chunks into episodes was somewhat lacking at times.
