Spoilers Nilsson to Ina switcheroo...

Well not quite Ensign Ricky - not quite as blatant as meeting a random redshirt in the transporter room and him being shot dead 30 seconds after beaming down, but I'd hazard guess that it won't be a million miles away.

Remember how Airiam suddenly had a load of character development thrown at her just before she died?

Something like that.

So Lt. Hawk, basically?

I do wonder if Sarah Mitich has left the show and they are just never going to address it? Or if she has just been unavailable for these two episodes.

They seem to have gone to the trouble of creating a whole new character for her to play after her being Ariam became unviable so I can't imagine they'd ditch her so unceremoniously.

She's a minor character. Not sure if she's worthy of a press release one way or the other.

The actress has not been very active on social media so might simply have not been available for whatever reason.

Hey, yeah, where is Linus? I'd have expected him to use Saurian fire-breathing abilities to fight against the Emerald Chain.

Yes, Suarians can breathe fire. It's never been canonically stated that they don't, therefore they do.
#doublenegativecanon

It would've been amazing to have Ryn and Linus side-by-side, giving each other a silent nod before unleashing a torrent of ice energy and fire blasts at the Orion invaders, combining to almost take down Osyraa and her green pheromone waves.

Discovery: How do they operate the ship with so few crewmembers?!?

Also Discovery: Why are we seeing new crewmember?!? Where the hell is the other crewmembers were used to seeing?!?

:guffaw:
TOS: There are 438 people on the Enterprise; so there are crew members we never see.

Also TOS: But Chekov wasn't part of the crew during Space Seed!

Had to double take and thought.. Where's Sara? and seen that was the big head alien actress.. Would have been nice if she stayed in the makeup, I mean it seems more like a helmet than a full head makeup? Easier to put on? or is it just, Doug is human, let her be human for abit??
As for her show lifespan??

Fun Fact: Lt. Hadley and Lt. Leslie each appeared in more TOS episodes than Sulu -- and only a a handful fewer than Scotty or Uhura. Hadley was in 60 episodes and Leslie was in 57. Sulu was in 51, Scotty 65, and Uhura 67.

Granted, Hadley and Leslie were not always specifically named, but I assume that unnamed Hadley sitting in the Navigator seat is the same Hadley who does get mentioned by name while sitting there.

Sulu doesn't get named in every episode either.

Leslie was often referred to by different names, among them Ryan and Connor. The novels have partially retconned that by saying Leslie's full name was Ryan Leslie.

Then there's the time in one of the early episodes, Leslie was on the bridge, Kirk gets on the intercomm, and while he's delivering his message, we get a shot of personnel in a corridor listening to Kirk's message, with Leslie among them, suggesting there must have been two Leslies, Ryan Leslie and Connor Leslie, perhaps? This could also explain why we continued to see a Leslie after seemingly being killed in Obsession, it was in fact a different Leslie.

He's part of a clone batch. ;)

So, I noticed Nilsson was back for the group shot when Michael arrived on the bridge at the end. Lt. Ina was there too. But I don't recall seeing Linus.
