"After capturing the U.S.S. Discovery, Osyraa seeks a meeting with Admiral Vance while Burnham and the crew must overcome unimaginable odds as they attempt to regain command of their ship." - TrekMovie.com

Did this Wizard of Oz bullshit start on Reddit, are you the poster that did that? Or did RLM make that up or something.
I came up with the poster myself and have no idea what else you're referring to with Reddit or whomever. Osyraa reminded me of the wicked witch, right down to her choice of attire, and I thought it would make a good theme. Is Tilly "Dorothy"? Don't know but it was fun to see the two of them in a face-off (though Tilly did try to play it a bit too cocky). Looking forward to more of that. Hopefully our new Captain Tilly isn't sidelined too soon.

Oh, and I thought that maybe Saru would be the Tin Man.

I did a quick Google search and it seems that a lot of people are comparing Osyraa to the wicked witch of the west. Admiral Vance as Glinda? Don't see it.

I think the poster looks great.

Yeah, I see that. And I think Osyraa looks like it but a lot more fun than any Wicked Witch of the West I've seen. That's me though. Not a huge fan of Wizard of Oz, other than the original book.

I've been doing Wizard of Oz jokes since the first episode Auntie Osyraa showed up in:

- I know how you defeat Osyraa: You throw some water on her!

They're fun and they don't diminish from the show in any way. All they say (from my perspective) is that their is a prominent green character who is the evil antagonist. This and Wizard of Oz are the only two examples of that I'm aware of.

Abomination.

The Green Goblin.

Frankenstein's Monster.

But, the Wizard of Oz comparison is fair, if a bit on the nose ;)
