I wonder if this was yet another project that had the best intentions in mind but fell victim to COVID impacts.

Actually yes, it was. If you ever catch a look at the Diamond Select Cage Enterprise, you will find it to be quite accurate, including the duck-egg blue neck. It’s a subtle difference from the rest of the gray-green body, but it’s definitely there.

Consider my mind blown!

Here's a screencap of the original (non-remastered) color footage of the opening shot. You can definitely see the color variation of the neck. I was immensely surprised too when I first got the Diamond Select model. Then, after doing the research and confirming it, it was a real "Huh!" moment. I still discover new little things after so many years of thinking something is one way and finding out it's another. It's a cool thing to unearth such details, IMO.

Yeah, before knowing that was how it was actually painted, my default position would have been, "that's just the lighting". Same for the rust ring on top of the saucer.

Looks like I messed up. Just got an email from my local comic book guy that the Regula One I ordered from him will be in next Wednesday.

I must have forgotten that I ordered it from him when I went and ordered mine off the website.

So now I’m gonna be out $50 and have 2.

Wish I could remember my eBay and PayPal passwords...

Anybody know how long its typically taking Eaglemoss to process and ship orders these days in the US? I ordered the Titan and Thunderchild a week ago and haven't heard anything out of the "Thanks for your order" email and the customer service rep was no help.

Took just over 2 weeks to get my special order shop exclusive items (Reliant concept, Pike Enterprise, Friendship One and Cardassian Weapons Platform) from start to finish. YMMV based on location.

Yay they got some of the ships I wanted back in stock so have ordered the Valdore warbird and the attack-position Klingon BoP, plus a Keldon-class to make up the numbers.

Yuss! I just managed to order the SS Conegosta from Eaglemoss Australia - with a pressy card from work - however the card would quite stretch until I found a promo code which took just enough off to cover the purchase!

So very pleased to have ordered only my fourth EM starship ever!

Wow, that’s what they all look like together. I have them all too, but they’re in boxes right now until I finish my basement and have space to display them on some in-wall shelving, which is not likely to happen any time soon.

I got the Enterprise illustrated handbook that comes with the Eaglemoss Ent-A model. It's nice, but the right nacelle broke off before I even opened it.

I must admit, that Dreadnaught design has grown on me over the years. I wasn’t a fan of the boxy secondary hull, but I found the rest of it quite appealing, and it’s probably going to be my next Tier 6 purchase in Star Trek Online.

Would be nice if they did more ships from the SotL calendars, IMO. The Yeager and the Endurance (and whatever NCC-1110 is) from the new one are pretty sweet.

When asked about the remaining Klingon ships from DIS, Ben said: "The plan is definitely to do more. To be honest these Klingon ships don’t sell brilliantly, so we’ll work our way through the Picard, Disco and SNW ships first."

Am I the only one who thinks the gold and blue Sech class is clearly the most interesting design from the Binary Stars fleet? I wonder why that one gets postponed while much more boring ships - especially the Batlh class - are still made as part of the DIS collection.
