Huh... So that’s why I haven’t seen a new binder for a while.
Did anyone ever get any of the QMx Artisan models...?
They used to, years ago, before they started expanding their operations to other markets. You might be able to get it to work, although IIRC their site usually does geo-blocking to redirect your web request to the correct server location. You might not be allowed to order anything from the UK site anymore unless you get a proxy server that bounces the request through a UK router. Even then, that country’s site may no longer support “foreign” addresses.Stupid question... does the UK store ship to the US? I just found out that they have 2 of the 3 remaining ships from the Main Line I still need that the US store does not have.

So I need a VPN?
I think if you use the code in the email and go to their website you can find the tracking code for the actual shipping service (believe they use both UPS and USPS).What is the deal on Eaglemoss' tracking system? The email they sent me contained a code which is not recognizable to USPS. The package should deliver in the next two days, but I have no shipping updates to verify (and Eaglemoss CS was not forthcoming with anything new).
It’s a pity.Just got the Pike Cage Enterprise special. They got the correct bussards and main dish but I am quite befuddled why they chose to go with the production-era bridge dome.![]()
What’s worse, is that the magazine shows the correct bridge dome! So they had the right model, they just decided to go on the cheap and use existing already-molded parts without making new ones to keep it accurate. They did the same thing with the Excelsior, when they had the corrected wide-body secondary hull in the magazine, but still used the narrow-body hull for the physical model. It’s a pity.
I mean, the ship is physically good quality. But it’s selling point was to reproduce the look of “The Cage” Enterprise. I remember the excitement when the CGI of that ship was unveiled at DST 2019.![]()
Actually yes, it was. If you ever catch a look at the Diamond Select Cage Enterprise, you will find it to be quite accurate, including the duck-egg blue neck. It’s a subtle difference from the rest of the gray-green body, but it’s definitely there. The neck was blue?
Significant changes were made to this original ship when work on the series began, including "ball power nodules" with the light source, the nacelles, bridge, colour pallet and lettering. This U.S.S. Enterprise (The Cage) Starship carefully recreates the original Enterprise starship as seen in the pilot episode "The Cage" (1965). The model ship captures the look of the original 11-foot model of the Enterprise with a larger bridge and deflector dish, and grille pattern on the nacelles.
