Six years can have an effect on the gut. Hell, in just nine months of the pandemic I'm feeling somewhat Bib.
I never expected him because they would be tying the writers hands for future games in the series. If he’s alive now, then that means they can’t kill him off. Remember the first game is 25 years before this show takes place.
What the f---?! They've never had a post-credit scene before. Didn't know it was there until I came here!
I'm not emotionally tied to the character nor the game anyways so it won't ever bother me if he doesn't. But knowing Filoni he might look for a backdoor to get him in.
This was a great finale to a good season, but, weirdly, the ending cameo was the weakest part for me. The fan servicey hack and slash was fun, but went on for too long. The CGI was super dodgy, they should have cut it down a bit. And the scene just lacked that extra spark. It wasn't terribly well written. It felt a little rote, a little perfunctory. I like the idea more in concept than execution. Still, it was on balance a terrifically fun episode. Can't imagine what the show will be without Grogu. They really should end it here.
It will be The Book of Boba Fett.......the more I think about it, the more I think they might put these folks on ice a while. Seemed like a good ending for now. Bo Katan, Fett, several Mandalorians to follow around.
Seasons 3-4 will be about the adventures of Din and Baby Jabba, who is the child of Jabba the Hutt. Seasons 5-6 will turn dark when Din has to take care of Baby Snoke.
That sounds like it's a different show. As far as Din Djarin goes, though, I agree with you. No real story left to tell. The heart of the show was Grogu. He was the emotional center of the show and obviously a wildly popular pop culture phenomenon. Trying to carry on without him would be a bad idea and trying to find some way to cram him back into the story now would also be a bad idea.
Suppose that they are going to make Grogu the heart and emotional center of the entire shared narrative that they're trying to create here? What if the Mandalorian, Ahsoka, Marshalls of the New Republic and the Book of Boba Fett are all separate branches of the larger tale of Grogu?
Ben Solo doesn’t turn to the Dark side for another 20 years. Is Grogu going to still be training by then? Then again he’s 50 years old and is still a baby. So maybe so.
Well I don't think Star Wars ever made me cry before. Great stuff. I guess we won't be seeing Grogu too much next season. I don't have an issue with that. But maybe I'm wrong, who knows.
