Love the artwork, but I‘m a little confused. Why did you start a new thread for the same entry? What was wrong with the already existing thread? I could have edited the “Contest: Enter” label to the existing thread as well, if that was the idea.

Wow. That is one amazing design! The above image is my favorite, but they're all gorgeous. Not just the ship design, but the whole presentation is just lovely! Love the negative look of everything. I have a feeling you may be choosing next months contest too!

First let me apologize to you Atolm for the "I'm out" pic. I thought it would be a nice comedic way to show how impressed I was with your work on this, but upon further reflection could see how it could depress turn out in a really cool challenge.

So having said that, I'm NOT out and I WILL have an entry for this contest.

We'll see. I've been in a creative slump for months now, but I'll keep giving it some thought. But damn if this isn't some fantastic work on your part. Which, considering the quality of your usual stuff, is really saying something. But I think this might be my favorite of your works. It's just so well realized and fleshed out, moreso than your usual works. The additional views, the shuttle, and just the general presentation is just gorgeous. I really can't say enough good things about this, you've really done something special here, imo.


For this contest, man....it's a challenge for me personally as I've started to realize over the last few years just how much the original Enterprise is in my design DNA. I'm trying to think of a non-variant, and it's a struggle.

Im still working on mine but I fully expect to lose lol.

Winning is fun, but I've done it enough times that coming up with the next contest is a daunting task.
