I went to vote today. I arrived about 11:50 am. I got back in my car at 1:55 pm. And over an hour was spent out in the sun. My pale ass burned to a crisp.

There is another dog in our neighborhood that one of our dogs absolutely hates. Last week I realized that we hadn't seen that dog on our walks in a ages, so of course we ran into her on our walk a couple days later.

Can't you change your walking route? Avoiding the other dog might be possible if you steer clear of her home.

My sister had a particularly contentious dog, so I know the issue firsthand.

It's hard, because pretty much all of the routes through the neighborhood cross, and I would have to go farther than I want to go to get away from those routes.
