Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

Haven't we just been through this? The reference is to the red-on-black color scheme of Batwoman's costume.
Yes, the color scheme is for Batwoman's costume, but the thin red trim on the car is nearly the same design feature as use by the 1966 TV Batmobile. Do we need pictures?

No, that won't convince him. It would be like trying to explain to him why most people think of Superman's trunks as "underwear worn on the outside", and him not accepting that would most other people's initial perceptions.

Just because you can find parallels between the '66 Batmobile and that possible Arrowverse Batwoman Batmobile doesn't mean the intent was for the latter to be a homage to the former, particularly since black and red are, as mentioned, Batwoman's established color scheme.

But i would say the common person , if they saw the new car, would assume that in their head. (Just like they think of SUperman's trunks as underwear)

And most of them were cheap and cheesy as hell.

The point is that if a low budget kid's TV show from 1976 can afford a custom car, Berlanti's show most certainly can afford to do the same--and more.

It's also worth keeping in mind we don't know the context of the design, it could just be that this was a car that Ryan or Luke already had, and they decided to add the Bat stuff to it.

I find it hard to believe Luke would think slapping pieces on a stock car would be seen as the kind of car a Batwoman would drive.

Oh.

There's a splayed company of gigless actors running around trying to pay for their car insurance after the cancellation of God Friended Me.

Think about it.

Joe Morten as Lucius Fox.

Why can't it be both?

Sure, it potentially could be. But too many people are jumping to the conclusion that it has to be, and because they stop at their first impression rather than continuing to think, they miss the obvious connection to Batwoman's own logo and colors. Never stop at your first thought.

Anyone that looks at a sporty stylish black car with a red bat symbol on it and doesn't immediately think of the 60's batmobile has either not only never seen the old Adam West Batman show, but somehow managed to avoid any and all expose to it through cultural osmosis over the course of their entire lives (read: raised by a Luddite cult in the middle of the woods)...or they're lying and being deliberately obtuse.

With that out of the way, I stand by my initial critique; It's too long for Dick and too short for Richard.
