It makes me a little sad watching the Detroit Tigers these days with the number 6 patch on their sleeves as a memorial to the late Al Kaline. Kaline was my first sports hero when I was a little guy in Toledo. RIP Al.

I just had an awful idea: What happens if someone pitches a no-hitter / perfect game in one of the 7-inning doubleheader games? Will MLB have to count it as official? Because now I'm once again having stabby thoughts directed at Rob Manfred.

I see the full playoffs in a bubble plan is out, you know Manfred is going to gush about the world series in neutral location part, and want to make it permanent.

Also, tonight's San Francisco / San Diego game, as well as their game tomorrow night, has been postponed indefinitely after a Giants player tested positive for COVID-19.

You fucking asshole players, how dare you catch an insanely contagious virus when your job has you constantly traveling and being around people in an extremely unsafe and irresponsible attempt to make TV money?

Alec Mills (Cubs) just threw a no-hitter in Milwaukee.

The site of Carlos Zambrano's no-no vs the Astros. Great performance with a lot of help from the defense.

But more importantly, a nice 12-0 win.

Alec Mills had five--five--swinging strikes in that no-hitter. Tied for fewest in a no-no with Dallas Braden, of all people.

If Canada is letting anybody in by then. Buffalo Blue Jays might be another permanent change ;)

I checked the Blue Jays' schedule and there doesn't seem to be any room for the Montréal games on it. :(

I mean, these games always used to come before the Jays' home opener, but they're booked solid for that time. Maybe this time they'll do it before the Jays' road opener? (there's a few days free before that game)

This is a new one on me: Josh Donaldson was thrown out of the game after hitting a home run.

On the previous pitch, he argued with the umpire about a called strike to the point that the Rangers manager came out to further argue. After hitting the home run, he kicked dirt across home plate and he was immediately ejected. Then, and this is my favorite part, Donaldson turned back around from his trot to the dugout to kick even more dirt all over home plate.
