The singer is Chiaki Ishikawa who's had a solid career of her own since they split up (Almost 20 years ago.)

And it's at the moment I realize that's Asuka in your avatar. I actually spent several minutes staring at the screen trying to figure out who that is. I'm dumb.

If you're a Sagisu fan and like slice of lifeish stuff, you should give His and Her Circumstances [Kare Kano] a try if you haven't seen it. It's old and was low-budget even for its time so it looks really dated. But the writing is top-notch.

Yup! Asuka with glasses!!

I'm a big fan of Evangelion. I watched it six times between 2016-2017 and am currently on a ninth time. The directing and writing is phenomenal. It taught me so much about how we can use a single unmoving shot with any animation drawings and just sound. The characters all reflect a piece of myself, too. I love it.

I need to watch Kade Kano. I bet the score is lovely.

The Shat shat himself. The word "Jew" is a descriptor, unless used in a racist context. Same with "Cis", I guess, the distinction being that heterosexual males, especially white, dominate the power structure. And hes 89??? Damn.

Maybe he's transphobic, but that link doesn't prove it.

He doesn't like being called CIS because it's always a prelude to an attack.

Who likes being attacked?

Masochists.

He doesn't like being called 'cis' because he doesn't like being told he isn't 'normal'. Sorry Shatner, you're not normal. Cis is not normal.

Also, he was avoiding referring to a trans woman by her pronouns. That's just coded transphobia. We know when we're being shat on, we're good at reading between lines.

These things are annoying. That's just Shat with long hair and his eye-lashes done.

You wound me, sir, madam, sadam, mir or sadamir. That image was executed with the most space-age of applets. It is because the Shatner essence (or Shatessence) is so strong, that a full facial meld appears as if only minor tweaking was achieved. You have inadvertently bestowed a timorous panegyric upon Shatessence... and for that, I am obliged.

It's hard not to read Shatner Tweets without Kevin Pollak stammering in my mind's ear.

What is it exactly you hope to accomplish with these posts? I mean I'm pretty sure they're some weak attempt at passive-aggressive bullshit. I just can't figure out what it's supposed to be.

There was an episode of Shit My Dad Says, were Shatner's (character's) new gay friend was being abused by his old Navy buddy, and Shatner got rid of his old bigoted friend.

Just lines in a script, but if he didn't want to read them, he could have pushed the episode.

He used to be woke?

It's an ironic equation.

Bill has a sence of identity that is being ignored, ridiculed and marginalised.

Sound familiar?

When I first read the word cis in that context, I was confused for a second, then I remembered my chemistry classes and it all made sense XD

He doesn't like being called CIS because it's always a prelude to an attack.
Explain. It's just a category as the counterpart to another category. Is "straight" always a prelude to an attack?

What is normal?

Nothing is normal. There is no normal. Nobody is more normal than another.

But yeah, plenty of cis gay men and women despise trans women. It's possible to be okay with cis WLW and MLM but not trans people.

Then there are biphobes. Yeesh.
