nuqneH is a proper greeting (What do you want?)
The ship has a huge warp core
Mariner dreams about Khan
Evora in Little Kronos!
Boimler's regular-speed speed-walking is sooo cute XD
Ensigns now know about 31 too -.- (Was Sloan's death the end of the organization as we knew it?)
There is blue and purple qagh as well
The central spire is similar to farpoint and the milennium gate
They mention a Janeway protocol
There's a Risan Horgahn statue
A Vendorian from TAS appears!
One of the Andorians has the ritual blade weapon from ENT
A sparkly inviting jeffries tube draws Rutherford back to engineering XD

The stuff with Mariner and Boimler I can take or leave. I loved the storyline with Rutherford though, especially the simulations and the "Janeway-Protocol":lol:

What happened to the glowy dot thing that entered Freeman at the beginning of the episode. Hopefully they address it next week.

I'm not going to officially pick a grade for this episode yet until the weekend, but close to Midnight on Wednesday, I'll say somewhere between 6 and 7, probably closer to 7.

I enjoyed this episode. Rutherford's story was fun. It sounded like there was an homage to the music from "The Best of Both Worlds" when he's fighting the Borg on the Holodeck.

The episode left me feeling very happy, because it was entertaining and their were good character development moments.

I especially liked the plotline for Rutherford, and how command was so supportive of him trying to find the right place for him. Last episode it seemed like the senior officers didn't really care about the lower deck crew, but not this week. That whole plotline and the ending moment with Tendi was heartwarming.

The Boimler/Mariner plotline was okay. I'm liking Mariner a little more, and Boimler speedwalking was great.

For a moment I was excited, because I thought: "Yeah, Rutherford would make a great Yellow Shirt, one that has actual chances of surviving!" I felt a little sad, when he went back to Engineering

Continues to be loud, fast-paced and obnoxious. Without Mariner this series would be a lot easier to handle but she gets to be in the show all the sources of the problems AND the solutions.

Another Burnham? XD
She was demoted, transferred around, breaks the rules, and saves all situations...

Saves all of the situations SHE created. She's an obnoxious character, Purple Hair was excited about the escort mission and she manages to inject herself into it, bosses PH around, gets the Klingon drunk when he's headed for some conference, which gets the shuttle stolen and puts both of them at risk.

Oh, but it's charming how she was able to get PH feel better about himself because she manufactured the encounter with the Ferengi.

The stuff with Tendri and Rutherford continue to be the most likable elements of the show as they act, you know, at sort of reasonable levels that are easier to take and aren't moving around and talking at such a fast pace.

If they all develop as they should, Mariner might become less of a talking hurricane, Boims might become more confident, Tendi might become more disillusioned, and Rutherford might get tired of the same systems on the same ship XD

...With such things running on autopilot, what I'm really interested in is how Mariner's parents turn out. So far, we have seen Freeman do quite an evil queen act; there's not much there that we could easily predict about the background, the upcoming revelations, and the plot role played by Mom. And there's even less on Dad so far.

Timo Saloniemi

What bothers me the most now is that Section 31 went from being top secret to being official and widely known, then back to top secret again, and then back to widely known again.:ack::brickwall::crazy::sigh::wtf:
