Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

You're right.

Catwoman is not staying long.

And she is taking everything when she leaves.

Nothing left for Alice.

...

You realize that as much as it seems like I'm talking about a future windfall from the Waynes post mortem now, what I was originally referring to Alice's "right" to move into Wayne Tower, go down to the cave, slip on something skin tight, and fight crime, now that Kate has skipped out.

So Bruce Wayne is going to give a cousin he thinks is dead money because?????

Who else is he going to give it to? He has no known kids. That means spreading the wealth to all the people he cares about and maybe a few to some of his "party nights" kids back when he was a swinger Lots of course go to Robin who also gets the car, helicopter and boat. Kate would have gotten the Bike but that likely now goes to Luke who gets the house and batcave. Someone has to pay off the nursing home taking care off Aunt Cooper.

Depends. He might have a son named "Damian"
Bruce was never a "swinger". He's been obsessed with one thing since he was 10 and it ain't getting laid.
His cousin Beth is dead. No reason for her to get anything.

Yeah, I don't think Bruce or Luke is keen on that.

Alice is a Wayne.

If Bruce dies, she gets a share.
Doesn't sound like "move into Wayne Tower, go down to the cave, slip on something skin tight, and fight crime".

My grandmother's sister had no kids, so she gave 80 thousand each to the dozen children of her four siblings when she died, except my mother, becuase they thought that she was (still) a drug addict.

A few problems in the 80s, and no one forgets.
Well, to be fair, if she still has problems in her 80s she'll probably never learn.

And that is a long way off, but as long as she can claim later on, she can steward a 30 billion dollar cave, while he is out on a mental health day, and work off any bad blood.

I read a batman comic where Little Bruce went full Von Trapp on family member after family member, trying to take the house and the allowance for looking after him.

In Batman Earth One Alfred, who was not the butler, was the godfather, showed up to look after his new son, who was such a mental case, that Alfred decided to pretend to be the Butler.

So did Jacob Kane have his thumb up his ass or did he just not care so much for his nephew?

given that Bruce has a public imagine of a not-particularly-bright lazy wastrel which is how Jacob Kane would see him, I'll take "not care so much for his nephew" for $200 Alex.

^ Well, that would be adult Bruce. What about insanely rich kid Bruce being raised by the butler in a ginormous mansion? Your dead sister's kid (Marthaaa!) and you don't even bother with him? How did Alfred even wind up with the kid if there was an adult relative around?

Let's say that Jacob got along with Martha because of their sibling bond but disapproved of Thomas; being close with his sister would not automatically translate into or predetermine any responsibility on his part - legal or otherwise - to care for her progeny in the event of her and Thomas' deaths.

So where does Van Wayne play in all of this and who is up for Alan Tudyk coming back as the character despite the fact "Powerless" was a crappy show?
I thought Powerless was pretty fun. One of the unaired episodes apparently involved the characters learning that Lois Lane had died (again), so everybody suddenly had the ultimate get-out-of-jail free card -- meaning they could say or do anything they wanted, because they knew it would all be erased when Superman inevitably reversed time (again) to save her. It was a great premise, and I really wish the episode had made it to air.

I just discovered it online

Alfred engineered the "death" of Gabi and Beth to keep Jacob in a fit of depression.

So I looked up Phillip Wayne.

There's 8 year Bruce on his knees in his pajamas praying to Jesus.

What struck me about this 70s panel of art were the many, many, many anchors on little Bruce's pyjamas.

Bruce is a Nautical nerd.

Later, he was "this close" to calling himself Boatman when he was setting up his super heroic dual identity.

My Batman is weak.

It took me forever to realise that Aunt Harriet was Dick's aunt.

Was she black mailing Bruce?

"You don't get to do what ever sketchy things you want to do to my athletic supple nephew, unless I get room and board too."

No, the CCA was. ;)
