It would have been nice to get another angle, at least.

While the Intrepid class was never my favorite, they figured out a way to make it look far worse.

Barnes and Noble notifying me that my copy of Dayton's Agents of Influence has already shipped, and should be here by tomorrow, very likely (it's already in my home state of IL from NJ after yesterday's departure-scan).

Thanks for the heads-up! I've put up a review thread for this one. (I'm losing track of the new releases since I can't go to bookstores...)

Ah, yes, the new Greg Cox novel. It has been mentioned earlier in the thread. And while this probably wasn't intentional, the timing is pretty good for a McCoy centred novel. The midst of the Corona Times is exactly when we need a story about a medical doctor saving the day.

Reviewed the second-pass galley pages just last week, which means the book is officially put to bed.

I've also gotten a sneak peek at the cover art, which I can't wait to show off.

Whether you love or hate the actual book in question, Gallery has been absolutely crushing it with those awesome covers these past couple of years.

Yeah, they have improved lately. For a while they seemed to just be fairly generic ship covers, but even the ship covers have gotten a lot more interesting the last few years.

Maybe it's because I'm in Germany, but that link doesn't reference McCormack anywhere.

Germany's page might not have been updated yet.

But it's not Germany's page, it's the .com page accessed from Germany. I guess they like have different information on the same website (not the .de page), based on location?

Switch to Hardcover. Kindle edition has Goodman as author, the hardcover @Una McCormack

Meanwhile, I noticed Amazon now lists Una McCormack's Janeway autobiography being released in October (was previously September).

Maybe they just haven't updated the Hardcover's page yet. If you look at the cover on the Kindle page it does say "Edited by Una McCormack", so it looks like the change is legit. Something like that wouldn't happen if it was just a mistake on Amazon's part. I checked the websites for Titan, who published the other autobiographies, and Penguin, who is listed on the Spock book's Amazon page, and neither of them have the book listed.

Look right under the title, it lists Una McCormack as the author.

Una McCormack was interviewed by The Captain's table podcasts and mentions her Captain Janeway book and some Doctor Who novels that are coming out this year. One that's been published last month and another one coming out in December. Also some short story a space western she did for Tor books that Marco Palmieri edited she mentions in the interview. David Goodman is no longer writing the Spock book. He mentioned it in a podcast interview I listened too awhile back.

If the Spock autobiography has Michael Burnham in it, I'll pass.
