Spoilers Lower Decks General Discussion Thread

Y'know, in looking at this design, and judging by its window layouts, it appears to be quite huge. There are three rows of portholes around the rim of the saucer, and looking at the underside, it looks to be nearly as big as either a Galaxy or Nebula. It's probably more likely a contemporary of some of the Wolf 359 ships, like the Niagara. I think I'm going to take a stab at a schematic on this one, although my top and rear views will be purely conjectural (for now), and use the Niagara's saucer as a starting point.
I too feel like it is supposed to be huge, capable of providing resources and support to whatever planets are in need as deemed appropriate.

It also appears to be very utilitarian in design, so hopefully the crew are not fixing it constantly.

They probably have to stay wherever they are sent for a long time, doing all the tedious follow-up work after the glamorous main ships have finished their episode of the week stuff XD

So twice now you've been asked to show us what you've got, and instead you continue to bitch about the ship and insult it at ever turn.

For the record, I don't actually care for this ship design very much myself, but your constant Monday morning quarterbacking of everything with the constant insistence that TPTB are lazy hacks and you could do better is getting rather tiresome. As others have said, if you can do better, SHOW US YOU CAN DO BETTER.
It’s a figure of speech but I suppose I could try it. It’s not like the standard is high. :)

I wonder if this ship is a 24th century take on the Ptolemy class and those tugs in "Brother" (assuming they are not Ptolemy class)

So that's the ship, eh? Well that's... different.

Uh, yeah, let's go with that. :shifty:

I actually don’t mind the ship
It’s no Discovery, which I love, but I think it suits its intended purpose.
Each to their own I guess.
