Supergirl's season finale certainly seemed to be setting Cryer up to continue. My sense is that he has a blast playing the role.
I would originally have expected him simply to move over to Superman & Lois, since Lex and Superman are basically joined at the hip. But you're right, this way they can have both. Cryer does present Parks with a daunting standard to match, however.

It is you who are focused on it. CW's brand is based on diversity and inclusion in all its forms. And it is laughable that in 2020 that is considered "left wing politics". It is incredibly insensitive try and label others as racist. The fact that you are even making these comments at this moment in time is highly reflective of your character. Next thing, you will be calling "cancel culture" and other right wing dog whistles?
Actually, it's CW that is focused on it. Diversity can exist without pandering. Diversity isn't left wing politics. Racism is. CW is the most racist network out there. They have this need to check each box so they can pat themselves on the back as to how "diverse" they are when all they are really doing is pandering. And their hatred of white males is not only racist, but it is pure left wing politics.
I don't care what you think of my character. You think cancel culture is a good thing? Destroying history to put in their Marxist evil is what the left is all about. Demonizing people who don't agree with them--that's the CW and left wing politics.
There is a difference between diversity and pandering. Pandering is racist. That's what CW does, but the left is so in love with their pandering that they don't see it--or they do see it and don't care because they are so filled with hate.

The CW believes that they can't create a villain played by a black person. So they appropriate Lex.
Calling out their crap may make you uncomfortable, but that's life. I have to live with the hate of the left all the time. But the left hasn't completely destroyed America yet, so diverse opinions are something that we all have to deal with--even when they don't agree with the left.

As an actual marxist, I'd appreciate it if you stopped using the term in the wrong context. If you want to throw around such words, learn what they actually mean.

There is no such thing as "cancel culture". It is an ultra right (and mainly white supremacist) invention. For hundreds of years many voices have been "cancelled" by the white male population in power. Non-white, non-heterosexual, until most recently non-male and, in the Western world, non-Christian views have been sidelined, marginalized, and not allowed in the mainstream. Now that people who don't represent those mainstream views have had enough of those who preach them--they don't want to hear speeches and opinions about bigotry and intolerence (racism) and they use their democratic right to shout down those same voices who have been responsible for repression (or cancel culture if you insist on using that term) for centuries.
Ok no need to trigger any more SJWs. Back to Superman.
It's a racist term coded to make it seem like it is not racist. Using the term is racist.
