Apparently BBSes using prophpBB all got moved to Tapatalk. So far it has been less than helpful.
Euch. This is why I massively promote archiving interesting data yourself when you come across it, so that it's not completely lost...
Does anyone happen to know the creators of the Miranda/Avenger class plans? I actually wanted to buy a set, I went to the website and it looks pretty old, I sent an Email to the address listed a few minutes ago, but it being an AOL Email I'm not sure if it is still checked. I didn't know if reaching out here would be more efficient or not.

Spot-checking, he also misspelled "led" as "lead" (a homophone of it) on the page for the Chaffee, whose design I really like, by the way.He spelled kitbashed wrong in the page title.
But it's true that most of them are kit-based. Based on kits.

I've always loved your stuff Forbin, especially the Terrell class. Tell me - what software do you use to do the couple of deckplans and how do you plan them out? and..can we ever expect a full set of decklplans!?
I use CorelDraw for the vector art and Corel PhotoPaint for the photomanips.
I don't think I'd ever be able to figure out a full set of Deck plans! Getting things to interconnect properly, and figuring out everything that I'd need to include? I have endless admiration for the folks who can do that, but I'm afraid to even try!
BTW, the Terrell is based very closely on Jackill's Joshua Paul Class Heavy Frigate. In fact I was sort of trying to build a model of that, took a few shortcuts, and came up with something close-but-not-quite.

BTW - I always build a plastic model first, then do the drawing afterward. The drawings may be idealized a little bit - easier to tweak the art than the plastic.

Also went back to where it all began and rescanned the original 1973 Franz Joseph blueprints in 400DPI. Carefully stitched everything together, cleaned up all of the creases, and removed all artifacts. I hope you enjoy the results...

Very nice! Never seen that nacelle inboard sheet before. Looks like it was inspired by TAS’ “One of Our Planets is Missing”.
