Sadly true. More’s the pity. My daughter loved that show when she watched it years ago. Now, Chase the Police Dog is being treated like a war criminal. :(

Update: damn Axanar - they’ve found my one weakness! They’re releasing blueprints and deck plans of the Ares tomorrow and they actually look really good.
Careful. That's the grape Kool-aid you're looking at...

They're neatly drawn, but whoever did the work has a real lover affair with horizontal turbolift tubes - not only are there a lot of them but they run directly ADJACENT to most of the corridors. I guess the concept of a corridor being used to access rooms is one of those antiquated notions that Alec has "improved"

Same here. I love deck plans. Ever draft a set?? I have. It's an exercise in compromise.
Once, about 35 years ago now, I attempted to do deck plans of the Reliant based on FJ-style layout. Needless to say, it was a less-than-stellar result, but I was a teenager back then, and didn't care much. :)

And in true Axanar fashion the guy who designed the ship was not asked nor does he get anything for the sales. Profiting off others work......same ol' same ol'.

So if you do buy anything just know you're just paying Alec's bills for him.

Mine were made harder because they're set in the Star Fleet Battles universe and must be 100% compliant with all game rules and previously published data, plus approval by the game designer for anything the above doesn't already cover.

I saw some deck plans done for the Ares a while back and the layouts of the turbolifts were butt stupid.

I could only find Decks 1-4 from a couple years ago. Has the full set been posted? Are there newer versions? If so, please post a link. Thanks!!!

Here's the deck 4 with the myriad of horizontal turboshafts I mentioned upthread:

The octagonal central room is an odd choice given the shape of the saucer, but it is consistent throughout the other decks that have been shown so far

I wonder how they get to the lower, right quadrant tube run? I see no up/down holes or connections to the horizontal runs...

There's such weird asymmetry on those plans.
And SO MANY turbolift stops for such a small deck!
