They are all still friends, Harloff said that as well. This is about optics. When you are a face associated with a "brand" (if you can call a YouTube channel that) you can't lose your composure on social media. If I were a betting guy I'd say within 6 months he's back with both. This is about CYA. I used to watch all these guys but when I decided the only opinion I cared about was MINE I unsubscribed. It was just after Harloff had a meltdown because Disney didn't comp him tickets to the pre-public opening of Galaxy's Edge.......I've been happier since. :beer:

I'd be surprised to hear that he's back with Harloff but I'm not knowledgeable on him and his show. That Galaxy's Edge hissy fit is my first contact (pun intended) with him. I never watched Collider and his epic meltdown was my first impression of him and it certainly wasn't positive. I'm very disappointed that the Nerd Crew/Red Letter Media only did a reaction video and not a full on parody.
 
Burnett is not new to shooting off his mouth/keyboard and saying awful things. This is a pattern with him. His Axanar-era bulldog behavior is evidence of that. I looked at his tweets and how he doubled down on his initial terrible statement.

Both are escapees from the old Collider YouTube channel. Campea left when the current owners took over. Harloff split off his network just a short while before Collider fired all their talent and cancelled everything.

You know all those youtubers that review stuff and deliver entertainment news commentary? Collider tried to corner the market on both and make it a professional operation. The quality of the content depended almost entirely on how you felt about the individual delivering it. Campea presented himself as a movie intellectual, Harloff acted like the blue collar movie guy. They both still hold to those oersonas.

Pretty much this.............3-4 years ago I watched them a lot, but it got old to me when I realized that they very rarly liked ANYTHING. So for the most part it was spending time watching people complain, it got old for me.

I honestly didn't watch much other than clips from them but they have/had a long standing reputation as being anti-fandom and pro-industry FWIW. Add salt as needed. My primary experience with Collider was watching their Last Jedi spoiler review where they spent a half hour fawning over the opening yo' moma strafing run scene and pretty much wrote them off immediately. I occasionally watch John Campea for industry news clips but stay away from anything controversial that he may cover as I have no interest in him describing his fellow fans as "cousin humping basement dwellers" for not agreeing with him.
