It’s interesting that the person who goes when there aren’t legends around is the one acting the most erratic.
Don't they normally get rid of the people who act erratically? It sets people on edge and they doubt any promises that person might make about who to vote for.
People normally either target biggest threats or vote down alliance lines. At this point behavior is a smaller factor most seasons.
But now it seems to be everyone’s strategy is to be good with as many people as possible so it turns into a big conversation that goes round and round and lands on the one least connected person.
After she played the steal a vote I don't understand why they voted 4-2 instead of 3-3. If she had played the idol on Tyson they could have voted Sophie out 3-2.
I was a little distracted when the vote was going on. I'm just relieved that two of the people I'd be okay with winning were not voted out.

I guess their alliance wasn't that together. A three-three-three vote would have been better, with the plan to vote out either Tyson or Denise on the re-vote. It was fortuitous for them that Jeremy left and didn't vote.
If Jeremy didn’t leave they would have still stolen a vote but Kim might have guessed right with the idol.
But if they voted Jeremy, and then Kim played the idol right, Sophie might have played her idol, and it would have been 0-0 with a 5-5 locked revote and then possibly rocks.
I'm confused about how that advantage worked - the one paid for with fire tokens. Was it used or saved for later?
They shouldn't have called it an advantage. That just led to confusion.
Basically, it was just extortion against Tony. Tony had a choice between either paying the extortion (6 tokens) or losing both his vote and chance at the immunity challenge. Tony paid the extortion, and that's the end of it. There is no continuing "advantage."

I’m sad Sophie was voted out. But it makes me think Tony has a great chance to win.
Up to now, I did not have a favorite, but Tony may have won my vote with his performance:
a. He finds an immunity idol.
b. He gets extorted, but gets his competitors to pay half of it for him.
c. He wins immunity for the second week in a row.
d. He also wins two tokens, so net, he is only out one token.
e. He decided who goes, i.e. blindsides Sophie (with an immunity idol in her crouch).
f. All the while, he monologs his grand plans to us.

I'm not arguing with his ability to manipulate and pull off a win when it counts. And Sophie was too focused on other things to think that she might also be a target.
But I just don't like Tony.
Tony and Denise are the only ones who have gotten away with orchestrating a big move.
I just hope Michelle doesn't win on virtue of non-threatness and bitterness again. Anyone else still in the game I'd be okay with.

At this point I am hoping for Denise. She won't win, of course - not because she isn't smart, but because there are some physical challenges that I don't think she has the strength or endurance needed.
I don't even remember Michelle. Nothing she has said or done this season has impressed me.

I didn't remember her either, so I looked up her season. The final three her season: Michelle, Aubry, Tai. Two memorable people and her, and she was basically a goat who won on spite votes.
Tony seems like person in power now. But everyone knows it. Next couple episodes should revolve around him, if he can somehow get to the final 3 he deserves to win.
My ranking of likelihood to win among the seven currently in the game:
1. Denise
She has a resume, is not seen as a threat but still has a great argument.
2. Nick
Another underrated player. He’s good with everyone.
3. Tony
If he gets to final 3 he wins. Just now he mostly needs to win out in the challenges. He has all the credit.
4. Ben
He has played an amazing game to not be seen as a threat.
5. Sarah
I like her a lot but her only path to victory is to be the one to get out Tony.
6. Jeremy
He has been on the block for ages and never had power. He’s seen as a jury lock but he doesn’t have a resume, worst of both worlds.
7. Michele
I don’t even count her out. She’s a master at the Python strategy of not being seen, she plays the Sandra game. But in this jury I have a hard time seeing her get votes.
