I have a soft spot for googie/populuxe/call it what you will.. crazy American vernacular architecture from the 50s and 60's. there isn't that much left, especially in this part of the country..

but here is a church that looks like it ought to have mai tai's in the baptismal font. It's totally Tiki. I think it's Southern Baptist, actually. No, it's not a Wendy's. Me and my trusty scooter took a stop there for a chicken sandwich and a photo.
