With season 1 finished thought it would be fun to see what hopes or predictions people had for season 2.

Personally I would love to see Q and Worf appear.

I predict Guinan and the Doctor from VOY will make appearances. Seven becomes a regular.

Hope they make a visit to DS9.

Hopefully no more bad guy threats to Earth/Federation/Galaxy/Universe/multiverse/all sentient life/all biological life.

The Doctor from VOY would be great. I agree on the bad guy threats. Would be nice to leave that to one side for a season.

I want to see more of the Fenris Rangers. And I hope that the fact that Seven is now part of the Sirena crew doesn't mean she's left the Rangers. They were a cool element introduced in Season 1 that I hope they don't drop for Season 2.

I want to see more of the Fenris Rangers. And I hope that the fact that Seven is now part of the Sirena crew doesn't mean she's left the Rangers. They were a cool element introduced in Season 1 that I hope they don't drop for Season 2.

I feel like Seven being part of the crew will be how they introduce The Doctor from VOY.

I guess they are committed to it, otherwise it wouldn't have been addressed in public at all.

I think you are right. That's how he appeared on DS9 too.

I want Seven to take care of her XB's and not have just abandoned them to go adventuring in space. I want Jurati to go to prison for murder. I want Picard to solve crimes on Earth aided by his Irish-Romulan housekeepers.

The ending for season one was the weird generic Trek happy ending with all the "crew" there, except they're not a crew just a bunch of people who had common interests for awhile. They're not about to go exploring strange new worlds.

What I'd like to see:

• Picard discovering and struggling with what his new replicant body means - and discovering that while he may not have been given super-powers, there are unexpected opportunities to train/adapt/etc - maybe not simple stuff like strength and speed, but more subtle things - torpor, reduced sensitivity to complex admospheres that would harm real humans, radiation resistance, data interface, empathic ability... who knows?
• The federation struggling through what their reversal on synthetics means, and dealing with the legacy of what they've done over the 20 years of protectionism.
• The federation struggling with the roll-backs and inward-focus that left "wild west" regions to appear, giving rise to groups like the Fenris Rangers. Imperfect and Nuanced attempts to once again become the federation we knew and loved, but the real difficulty of ever going back to the "way it was before".
  
• What this means with the Klingons, Cardassians, Bajorans, Breen, etc - basically the old galactic neighborhood and how they've all adapted to this new darker federation
• What parts of the Federation have maybe broken off as the inward-focus happened - is Betazed still a member? Things like that.
• What's up with the Borg? Have their "teeth been totally taken out?" Or is this xB thing just a one-off with this ship that tried to assimilate Romulans?
  
• The wonderful naive "we've got all this solved around here. Let's go exploring" is over. Time to clean up a lot of the crap that grew up around here while we were all naively optimistic until something bad happened right at home.
• The synths adapting to this new reality - with continued and often existential challenges as they do so.

HA! I admit I'd love that. Don't hold your breath though.

My other pipe dream: A fair trial for Jurati,result: guilty of murder, but extenuating circumstances. Five years in a cozy little penal colony with lots of therapy. Rios can visit her; during his absences, Picard will gladly take the captain's chair.

My hopes and wishes:

- As Jessie Gender puts it: Stick to 5 ideas instead of 10 and follow through with them!
- Be more subtle with some things (Picard is dying!!!) and a tad less subtle with others (Rafi and Seven like each other)
- less plot holes
- no more directing by Akiva Goldsman, ever

- Seven as a regular
- Rizzo is dead and remains dead
- Integrate Laris & Zhaban. If necessary, give them some mission/ problem in space and have the La Sirena crew help them. Actually, any flimsy excuse will suffice, thanks.
- Have Raffi overcome her addiction in a believable way
- Follow up on the xB story, the Fenris Rangers, and the current state of the Romulan people (refugees, states, average folks, integration...)

Yes to appearances by Worf, Q, Guinan, and the Doctor.

Yes to more Seven - Fenris Rangers appearances. And we'll find out that Ro Laren is the head of Fenris Rangers and her appearance sets off a threesome b/w Seven, Raffi, and Ro
(also a good way to bring Michelle Forbes back).

And let's get Golum Picard a date. Would you prefer an old flame (Beverly, Vash or Anij) or would you introduce a new character to be his girlfriend?

Hopes:
- Worf & La Forge
- Guinan and a more in-depth explanation in regards to her longstanding issues with Q. Likewise, a more in-depth understanding of Q’s dislike for Guinan.
- If Q does appear, it would be interesting to learn if he ever made the same offer to Thomas Riker about becoming a Q, much like he did to William Riker on the Enterprise.
- Captain Rupert Crandall
- DS9
- Some sort of acknowledgment of Admiral Archer, the NX-01 crew (including Shran) and the NX refit existing. Even if its just a crew photo, holographic images in a museum somewhere, an audio recording of Archer’s speech at the UFP Charter signing, or recently declassified files. It's just odd that the TNG/DS9/VOY era has been silent on the subject.
- Fenris Rangers
- Episodic format. Give story arcs a break for a season and go back to exploring. If they have to do one, make it no longer than four episodes.


Questions:

What happened with the Crushers/VOY crew/Barclay/Ro Laren/Vash?

What ever happened to mobile emitters, ablative generators, and transphasic torpedoes? You’d think they be widespread upon Voyager’s return from the Delta Quadrant, as well as efforts being underway to produce a slipstream drive (since no one is allow to discuss Discovery and its ability to jump through both space and time).

If the synth ban has been lifted, will B4 return or will he remain disassembled?

What was the deal with the potential Fedxit with those 14 Federation worlds? And was Earth one of those worlds? What about Betazed?

Why did Federation-Romulan relations sour post-Nemesis?

Is a queen ruling the Romulan Free State, as was alluded to when Picard was on the Artifact? If so, is it Sela, Donatra, Tal’ Aura, or someone new?

Since the Zhat Vash has influence in both the Klingon Empire and Gorn Hegemony, will this be explored in some manner in regards to both powers?

If DS9 makes an appearance, has Sisko made his return? And is there any merit to the proposed idea for DS9 S8?

How did the Federation react to Spock’s subsequent disappearance in dealing with the Romulan supernova?

Since they’re leaning into a Raffi/Seven relationship, will we learn more about Bjayzl and her relationship with Seven? Was Bjayzl a cosmetically altered Caitian, a Betazoid, a human, or a different species? Did Seven leave Chakotay for her, or was it already over when she met Bjayzl?
