Great episode, and grateful there wasn't TOO much "pew pew" action going on. Gotta still absorb all of it in before I have more to say, but really enjoyed this finale. Lets just hope this pandemic burns out so we can get the second season going as soon as possible.
I really did enjoy that. I'll be generous and give it a 9. I'm surprised it didn't end with a cliffhanger and Season 2 will be an absolutely clean slate. I have no idea what they are going to do next season but I guess it's better that way if the wait will be long because of our current world situation. I really did enjoy the fight scenes with the orcids and the stuff with Picard and Data at the end was actually emotional.
That was...everything the end of the last TNG Era movie should have been and then some.
It was Data's effect on Picard that was the main story, and Picard working through it. Shame it took 20 years for him to move on. The slate is clean for season 2 and the added a blonde XB to the crew!
Yeah, ummm ... I got that.
But my personal evaluation still stands for me.
It's a tale of two hearts that never got to say what they felt ... till now.
And I do believe that's the first f-bomb used as a verb in Trek history
Seven playing kal-toh with Raffi. I was so pleasantly surprised by that little moment.

Actually, you think Riker and Oh would have met before given they are both high ranking Starfleet officers. And Oh would know Starfleet's capabilities.
It's jarring they didn't acknowledge that aspect of it; i.e. Oh is Starfleet so she would recognize the ship Riker is on as the most advanced, and he wouldn't have to explain it to her. But he explained it to her as if she was some Starfleet outsider, which she is very much not.
So does this mean that a Star Trek Online ship is now 100% canon? I didn't recognize the class but for a split second the primary hull reminded me of the Odyssey-class.
I'm not familiar with that ship.
I haven't seen it yet, but I need to know...
Did they really resurrect Picard in the golem? That was one plot point I really didn't want to happen.
