It almost scares me a little bit how clueless he seems to be when it comes to film production. I seem to know more just from Media Productions in High School and some DVD special features and a handful of Art of/Making of books. I keep seeing these posts about pretty much common sense stuff that he's treating as some big shocking revelation.

The recent green screen episode was particularly egregious, and entirely avoidable.

I was invited to take the off lane of sanity in order to say a few words about our last fan film production. Answered the page questionnaire and joined the page and was immediately greeted from Jon's attack dogs.
I really don't care to become sucked into the negativity.

Why? The mods remove much of their dismissive comments afterwards
It's why I quit bothering with them last year. Post something that isn't "All Hail to Axanar" and the Mods become less than welcoming.
If you don't want members to share things they thought interesting, simply disable that function. If you don't want random comments just put the comments under mod review.
Most people are imperfect humans with a diversity of flaws. That I find interesting.

he learned all he knows about filmmaking from Alec.
