mostly because 7 of 9 was created years after TNG endedThe scene with 7 of 9 trying to "protect" Picard or hide the fact that she's seeking revenge is a scene you never would've seen in TNG.

TNG started in the 80's, man. The A-Team fired millions of bullets in the 80's and only managed to flip some cars. It was a different time.mostly because 7 of 9 was created years after TNG ended

I can see Guinan running a bar in Stardust City next season (no shortage of hurting people).

Action/adventure series with social commentary potentially built in. Sounds like Trek to me.Different? You mean something entirely different, as not being Star Trek or having its character(istics) at all (?). Well, yeah, I agree, it's that different.
There is not one negative thread or comment here on this series nor any (justified) criticism of this (awfully bad) "Star Trek" series.
(snip)
and where every honest, and above all justified, criticism considering the absolute trampling of Star Trek spirit/canon and the virtual non-existence of any creativity, is practically non-existent (and treated with disdain?).
Has nobody wondered about and been surprised by the profanities and the F bombs in this series (having the name Star Trek), which is so uncharacteristic of and misplaced in Star Trek? Is nobody here bothered by that? Everyone would be bothered by it if it were used here, in the threads of this forum, where its rules prohibit its use, but I guess none of the 'blindly devoted' to this Kurtzman-instalment are or would ever be bothered by it, even if it were used more excessively. Talk about double standards.
Clearly you haven't read any of the episode threads. There are negative comments in those, especially in the episode 5 thread. There is not one negative thread or comment here on this series nor any (justified) criticism of this (awfully bad) "Star Trek" series.
He didn't plagiarize anything.and plagiarist Alex Kurtzman
