Star Trek: Picard. Hope is dead, murder anyone you want, say any foul thing you want to, screw it all. After this episode, I felt something that I thought I'd never feel while watching a Star Trek show.

I felt depressed. This episode featured three brutal murders and two of them were committed by our heroes. Is this is becoming too much. I just don't believe that this show belongs in the same franchise that would feature our main hero shout to a godlike being declaring "I will not kill him!" For all the retconning these show runners are doing to the franchise as a whole, maybe they think Kirk did kill the Gorn captain and he just felt bad about it afterwards.

Icheb was killed by pure and proper villains. That's what villains do, even on Star Trek.
Maddox was killed for unknown reasons, in a similar fashion as that Admiral who got his face stretched. We DON'T know if he was a good guy or not.
Bejazzle was killed by Seven. Revenge and what not. There have been a lot of revenge killings on Trek.
I don't get the mourning for Star Trek, and the hyperbole.

Bedazzled was a kind of Hitler, her death is the least shocking of the three.

For all we know that is why Jurati killed him, those parts taken from the ex Borg were used by Maddox to develop the technology used to create the synths.

Borg maturation technology would be of particular interest I would think.
Could be. Bejazzle knew who Maddox was, and why he was valuable. I sincerely doubt he was a virtuous man.

At least we got a little more background on the Mandalor.. I mean the Rangers in this episode.

I wonder if we'll see her again. It looks like it was a one time shot.
We will see her again, she gave Picard her contact details in case he needed help which is a red flag, we know he will need help so its pretty much a given that we will see her again, hard to say how long it will be though.

They could be anywhere at this point in time.

Allegedly they are locked up somewhere but I bet they aren't.

Seriously, I would figure Maddox would have gotten his hands on Lore.

Too farfetched. Maddox didn't look like the people butchering kind.

We also know that they had substantial history between them as well, plus it was said somewhere that he owed her money so she must have been an investor and if that is the case she probably provided other services for him.
