I'm wondering if there's any interest in a DSC/PIC crossover. I'm 50/50 on the idea. You definitely run the risk of being too fanwanky. But I still can't get my mind off the idea.
My thought is that maybe instead of going back to the mid-2250's, Georgiou ends up somewhere in the 2380's, takes over Section 31 and morphs it from the secretive organization we see in DS9 back into something similar to as seen on DSC. Maybe it's Georgiou's Section 31 that has been influencing Starfleet's darker, isolationist attitude in PIC? Section 31 could have a minor presence on PIC that springboards into the Section 31 TV show.
Like I said, I'm 50/50 on it. I know my idea stinks, but I couldn't help myself. I'm sure there are more creative ways to bring elements of the two shows together. I just think a Picard/Burnham team-up would be too much for some people.
