I just can't stand OBrine. Can't stand him. Of Course they can always replace him with someone worse, I realize that. I just don't like him. He's been in charge of the Texans for years now, and has one of the worst offensive lines in football to show for it. And that's after trading away two 1st round picks for an offensive lineman who makes shit tons of false starts.
 
I only tuned in for the halftime show, since half the commercials were released early anyway, but I can semi-confidently say that that was the horniest thing that will be aired on broadcast television all year. People were getting pregnant during that, mark my words.
 
Congrats to the Chiefs after all this time! And glad to see Andy get a ring even if it couldn't be with the Eagles.
 
Those late-game collapses are just the worst! 49ers were at 96% probability to win before KC pulled off the 3rd and long with 7 minutes and change to go in the game. From there on, total meltdown.

Just about as bad as what my team, the Buffalo Bills, did against the Texans in the playoffs - losing after holding a 16-0 lead.
 
I'm confused, all those people who were complaining that football is not the place for politics while Koepernick and kneeling were in the news aren't complaining about all the politics at the Super Bowl? :shrug:

Oh well, anyway, this was the only football game I watched all year so at least it was pretty decent.
 
Yeah Beyoncé and Jay Z are getting flack for sitting during the anthem...
 
SB54 was an enjoyable game of football to watch. Not a blowout, no a lot of mistakes, not a lot of penalties, and no real controversial ref calls. And the final score does not reflect that game was still up for grabs with five minutes or so left. I do think that the 49ers left points off the board in the first half with the poor clock management.
 
Congrats to the Chiefs. Niners D hadn’t run into an offense with the sheer number of great athletes the Chiefs were able to throw at them. The difference in team speed became really obvious in the 4th quarter when it looked like the Niners got tired.

Jimmy Garapolo is a really good quarterback but I think the Niners would likely have won that game if they’d been playing a team led by a “Jimmy Garapolo.” They were not. I said last season Mahomes was set to be the new face of the league and he is right on schedule. Lamar Jackson is on the rise and could end up playing Peyton Manning to Mahomes’ Tom Brady, but he has to prove himself in the playoffs.

Great game. Surprised myself and watched the whole thing.

It was only on-screen for half the damn game because of Fox's score bug at the bottom.

Edit: It's like how people type things like "Belecheck" despite Bill Belichick having been the coach of the Patriots for like 20 years. It's not that hard to get names right, y'all.
 
It is when people have weird ones whose pronunciations have multiple different spellings and you don't have an eidetic memory that captures it on one, or even several, viewings.
