From the Mars prologue. I'm certain those are the uniforms from the prequel comic, just with some sort of security vest on top.

DSC also had a vest, though it was normally used during away missionsYup...like the security vest thing that the security crews had in the TOS movies
And why couldn't Picard have presented this to Adm. Clancy as evidence that something weird was afoot?
Kor
was that obtained with Laris's illegal Romulan molecular scan gizmo?
You're a Starfleet admiral and the man you most despise barges in and tells some insane story about an evil Cabal of invisible romulans chasing an invisible android who maybe Data's daughter and your only proof is footage of that man being caught in the middle of an explosion.
Me I wouldn't swear at Picard, I drag him to the nearest infirmiry to get his head checked.
I think you'll find the couch is most comfortable when you've got a couple of decent pillows and a light blanket.I think I'll try that with my wife at home.
See how it goes.
Swamp gasRight, nothing suspicious about an apparently spontaneous explosion.

It was slower than the first episode, but I think that you (and actually not just you, but people in general) are a bit conditioned to something different, which you sort of allude to here. In the past, there would be shows that had slow pacing and we wouldn't have thought any different because shows were only released weekly.Too slow for a show being released weekly. A lot of streaming shows now indulge in long arcs of pacing, but it’s because they drop the entire season at once. Basically what we got here was more belly aching about going on a mission rather than getting properly on the road and have another week to wait to see anything substantial.
... heh ...female = / = woman
female = biological sex
woman = gender

Honestly this irumodic syndrome strikes me as forced drama that detracts from the show's message. The idea is supposed to be people are ignoring Picard because they've lost their way and values, not because they don't believe him because of his medical issues.
It could be.couldn't it just be that sir patrick insisted on be out of it at the end and they are preparing for that? it also gives them something to use if sir patrick actually wasn't available any longer to do new episodes. they could bring in riker and troy to sort out for everybody what actually happened.
Although I generally like Star Wars more than Star Trek, I find Picard to be the far superior show to the Mandalorian because the lead character is a realistic person and not a walking masculinity cliche.The Mandolorian on D+ had quite a few slow episodes as well and it has done fine, and it also was released weekly.
Picard will be fine...
